hawthorne inn loft

A few years have passed since I stayed here and I still think about this loft. The sunset views over downtown San Diego were stunning and the windowed roof was amazing for watching planes fly overhead. I still think about those sunsets to this day. The location was perfect. It was just outside downtown, very walkable, clean and well kept. The house manager lived next door and was very helpful. Anytime I needed something he was there. It got a little hot in the summer and he even installed a window A/C unit for me. I really have no complaints and I still miss this place. I even had my best friend and his girlfriend rent this same room a year later when he moved to San Diego because I knew theyd love it too. Thats how great this room at Hawthorne is. If I ever moved back to San Diego Id stay here again without hesitation. Five stars.

Comfortable facility and friendly hosts

I had a pleasant stay here. The building's history is fascinating and it's nicely located for seeing the area. Airplane noise goes way down overnight. Prices were reasonable and the hosts and staff are very nice and helpful. I did some remote work and was able to connect as needed. I would stay here again!
