Silverlake Hideaway Suite with Outdoor Oasis

Perfect spot to spend October (or any time) in LA! I was in town for work, and wanted to stay in the Silverlake neighborhood. I couldnt have been happier with the location, so close to everything including a great park, coffee shops and all the restaurants. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fantastic roof deck with sunrise and sunset views- soo good. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Theyve created a thorough guide of the neighborhood, with anything you could possibly ask for - that they send when you arrive. My favorite part of the stay was walking in the front gate and being surrounded with gorgeous trees, plants and flowers- a true tropical oasis.

I stayed at M & Js flat for over a month over the summer and loved it. Its got everything you need, with a large outdoor space where I would work and kitchenette. I LOVED the proximity to cafes (literally next door!) and shops in Silver Lake. M & J are excellent hosts, they invited me to join them for drinks and introduced me to local sights, but gave me space and privacy as well. 5 stars

M & J are incredible hosts. Warm, funny, knowledgeable and the best people to help you plug in to cool things around LA. The location is great too. Walking or biking distance to more restaurants and coffee shops than you can count, the shops on Sunset, Sqrl LA, and silver lake proper. Or a short drive to the highway, should you need to get elsewhere in LA. And the space is perfect for a solo traveler. A better appointed kitchen than most rentals of this size, desk for remote work (and strong enough internet to do so), and on site laundry. I will definitely be back!

Perfect experience start to finish! M & J are ideal hosts for traveling professionals, along with their property manager Rachel who compliments them just as well! The studio apartment is just as it is described and they thought of all the needs you have away from home. My two favorite things were definitely the private roof top & the decoration of the unit! Zero complaints! I would definitely recommend and stay again!

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a furnished studio/apartment in LA. I was looking for temporary housing while in town for work and was so lucky to have stumbled across this place. Not only is it in a great area, close to the great restaurants/bars/shops Silver Lake has to offer, and a perfect space for a person that works full time - the property owners are the sweetest people Ive ever had the pleasure of calling my landlords. The studio was already a perfect accommodation for me - comfy bed and couch, clothing rack, wifi, smart TV, and kitchen essentials (not to mention the awesome roof deck) - but my experience staying there was that much more enjoyable because of them. They took care to check if I was comfortable during my stay, were happy to suggest things to check out in the neighborhood, and were very responsive when I needed to communicate with them. This was the first time I used FF to find housing as a travel nurse. This property was perfect for my first time traveling and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and quaint location. Its located by a coffee shop and other restaurants and walking distance to a Target! Its the perfect location for all the necessities. About the unit itself, the mattress was extremely comfortable and the couch was perfect. My parents came to visit and we pulled the couch out into the bed and it worked perfectly for us three. The bathroom/shower worked well for me as Im 53. They definitely made the most out of the space. I am grateful to have spent four great months there! Id highly recommended.

I was truly lucky to have spent the better part of 2022 living in this GEM of a Silver Lake "plug and play" spot. The owners, M and J, are the sweetest, most caring people one could hope for in a tenant / landlord relationship. As a freelance TV/Film Producer from NYC, this was perfect for my longer term LA gig in 2022. The location is beautiful with so many great eats and experiences to explore on my days off and just a minute's stroll or fun scooter ride away. Street parking was greatly available in the area and the landscape is stunning for a jog. The apt is located right off the 101, making it very easy to get around the city for work and exploring. I loved opening the front door in the morning and having the breeze enter as I got ready for the day. Also, laundry is on site! This is THE sweet spot for sure... Look no further! Thank you M and Jason for providing THE DREAM living situation I needed in LA / Silver Lake!
