The Vibes Are Immaculate

I truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. I originally rented it as a short-term landing spot when I moved to DC, but I ended up loving it so much that I extended my stay multiple times. The location is fantastic. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the Metro, and bus stops are even closer, making it easy to get pretty much anywhere in the city. This spot is the perfect balance of quiet, residential, and peaceful while still being steps from great restaurants, bars, nightlife, and everything you’d want access to. There’s street parking, and I was generally able to find parking within a block of the house. The apartment itself is cozy, comfortable, safe, and welcoming. It’s well appointed, has everything you need, and a decent amount of storage space. Sarah and Jonas are kind, communicative, responsive, and accommodating landlords. This place played a big role in me deciding to stay in this neighborhood long-term. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Perfectly appointed amenities

Lovely basement apartment close to everything. Adequate amenities for someone to stay for a week or even a few months. Green line metro is a short 5 minute walk, Whole Foods is maybe 15 min walk, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Situated about 1 block from Howard University Hospital. Beautiful safe neighborhood with a lot of historical significance surrounding it. Washer and dryer in unit and dishwasher and full range in kitchen. Stand up shower. Queen size bed. I could hear the upstairs tenants when they would walk across the floor but other than that the place is greatly spundproofed. On weekends the street can get busy but close the door and you can shut out a lot of the noise. Parking is on street and spaces are limited (we had to park around the corner a few times). All in all great stay!
