Bright and spacious in a great location

We (family of 3) stayed in the cottage for almost 2 months and loved it. It's nicely equipped with essentials and furnishings and the owners are very nice and helpful. The cottage has lots of windows to let in natural light and the high ceilings help make it feel spacious. Plenty of storage and privacy as well. The neighborhood is great and conveniently located within walking distance to coffee shops, parks, and transit. Easy bike ride to Greenlake as well. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Location and Lovely Space

We stayed at the backyard cottage for 3 months while we were relocating. The owners are friendly and responsive :-) Our family of 4 loved the space. It was bright, open and contemporary. We enjoyed many dinners on the patio table and there was a storage space on the porch that we could use for bikes and other things. We always had any easy time parking on the street out front. The location is great. The neighborhood is full of friendly people, it's walkable and there's plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The light rail and bus station is only a 10-15 minute walk away. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Home away from Home

This backyard cottage became our home away from home for 8 months, while our house nearby was being renovated. The location is wonderful, with easy access to restaurants and Maple Leaf park (great for walking, riding bikes and playground for kids). The interior is clean and cozy. One of our favorite things was the beautiful sunsets we could see through the west facing windows! The owners are responsive and are quick to problem solve, if any problems arise. We feel so lucky to have found this property, and even though we were happy to move back to our house, we were a little sad to leave. (Also, Plenty of street parking.)

Beautiful cottage and wonderful hosts!

My roommate and I loved our stay at the backyard cottage! The cottage is cozy, clean, and very safe. There is also easy access to the bus and light rail, which was extremely helpful for commuting to work every day. The cottage has lots of natural lighting and a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved the outdoor patio - it was perfect for eating dinner or getting some work done outside. The kitchen is very spacious as well and there are plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. It was only our second time visiting Seattle, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts! D and C are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. They offered amazing advice for things to do around Seattle and were very supportive of our weekend trips to Rainier and Olympic National Parks! So grateful to have stayed with such wonderful hosts in this beautiful location.
