Absolutely wonderful living experience

This is the perfect place to stay if you are needing short term living! The location is within walking distance to a pretty social area with a wide variety of food options and a dunkin donuts for those early mornings you arent able to make coffee n your own. I was a physical therapy student when I stayed at Ms. Lynda's place and she was always available within a reasonable amount of time and when the city turned off the water for an afternoon without my knowledge she had a handyman on site within 30 minutes to see if he could fix the issue. It is a pretty quiet area with no real issues. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed apart from a dishwasher but that was not a real issue. This place was a joy to stay at and if I ever find myself back in Baltimore then I would love to stay with Ms. Lynda

Great Location

This was a great find; in a vibrant neighborhood! Staying at the Belvedere House I had everything I needed and then some. Everything was fully furnished, stocked, cleaned and well-kept. Every time I reached out to Lynda, she responded quickly and always got back to me. I will be back and will be recommending this to all my traveling nurse friends! Come and stay y'all! Swallow at the hollow is a dinner must!

My stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Belvedere House. The unit was nice and clean and exceeded my expectations. The area is safe with lots of walkable restaurants around the area. The landlord is very nice and responded promptly to any and all messages. If I am ever in the Baltimore area I will definitely try to stay here again. Everything was perfect, couldnt have asked for a better stay.

Not clean, bad odor, Roach infestation

unfortunately she did not address concerns I had in the apartment with solutions. I only lasted a week as i felt these concerns were unsanitary and would eventually be detrimental to my health. Theres a severe odor in the home that smells of sewer and old urine. It can be smelled as soon as the door opens to the unit and very much so in the bathroom. I feel as though on the initial walk through of the unit there was something sprayed or maybe cleaning products used to mask the smell. It is said that the apartment was professionally cleaned, but parts were left without attention to detail. Lots of hair on the bathroom floor and on the comforter of the bed. Apparently a contractor was sent over to see about the smell and the lack of airflow in the bedroom, yet he left trash on the bedroom floor and pass way in the common area with a stench that became worse. When i reported this back to the landlord she responded but didnt have the contractor to come back to correct it, as anytime air flowed through the vent more trash fell onto the floor with insulation from the HVAC system coming through as well. No solution was made there. To make matters worse, theres also a roach infestation as they were seen in all of the areas I spent time in; the bathroom while taking a shower, the bedroom, and in the kitchen. I was told that there was a guest who lived there for 7 months before I moved in and reported of no smell nor roaches in the house. Unfortunately there are people who are okay with living in filth and with rodents. I am not one. Everything needs to be thoroughly cleaned and special spray for nympho roaches as they lay eggs everywhere. I was told the apartment couldve been sprayed for pests before leaving early, but I could not last another day chancing more roaches being found around my food in the kitchen, or in the bathroom, or possibly crawling into the bed with me at night. So gross. Even with photo evidence (obviously with exception of the stench in the apartment) she would not take accountability and kept monies that I am rightfully owed.

Beautiful, new, and secure!

I stayed at the Belvedere house Unit 3 for 8 weeks and I would recommend this housing option to anyone looking for short or midterm housing! From the beginning L was amazing with communication and anytime I needed to get in contact with her she responded within minutes. The house has very secure entry ways and is located in a safe area, which was important to me since I was living alone. Everything in the apartment is brand new and high quality from all the appliances in the kitchen you could need, to smart TVs in the bedroom and living room, to full size washer and dryer, dishes, towels and linens. L makes the whole process very seamless from payments to move in and move out. I cant recommend this housing option enough. If I am ever working in this area again I will 100% use this housing option again!!
