I could not recommend this property enough. The property is very comfortable and charming, it is also in a very quiet neighborhood. Roberta could not have been a more accommodating host, she was very kind and attentive to any needs that you may have. I would be happy to stay here again.

A Lovely Home Away From Home

The Red Door Cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, and the space felt welcoming and well cared for. The location was convenient, and communication throughout our stay was smooth and easy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Our landlord was excellent to work with—responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Any questions were answered quickly, and everything was handled smoothly (not that it needed much). We truly appreciated how organized and considerate they were throughout our stay.

Property owner refused to refund my deposit.

I would not recommend renting from Roberta. After moving out and leaving the property in extremely clean and undamaged condition, I never received my security deposit back. I reached out multiple times by text to request an update and refund but my messages were ignored. Communication became non-existent once I was told my deposit was not being returned, which is disappointing and unprofessional. A security deposit is meant to be refundable unless there's valid reason like leaving a mess or damage. As a travel nurse, the owner of the property was aware my contract had ended. I also suffered an unexpected loss of my brother and attending his funeral was non-negotiable. This experience has left me feeling taken advantage of, and I hope future renters are more cautious than I was.

Great Location and Great Cottage Close to Town

R was a fabulous person to work with. She was responsive and I could tell she cared about the house and my experience there. I loved having the bike trail to town so close by. Really the only time I needed my car was to go to the grocery store. The house was comfortable and maintained a pretty reasonable temperature even during a crazy heat wave. My dog and I loved walking around the neighborhood and enjoyed the fenced in backyard for a little bit of freedom. Would highly recommend this house to solo or couples.
