Amazing Property, Amazing Rental, Amazing People

My stay in this rental was nothing short of amazing! Such a beautiful property tucked away up the hill, with a private driveway to the parking spot just steps from the apartment door. The newly renovated space is inviting and homey, with great furnishing and amenities. This was my third consecutive furnished basement rental apartment in the Asheville area, and by far the best in every category. The full kitchen (very hard to find in a studio rental these days) was well stocked with everything I needed to do any type of cooking. Even the knives were sharp (also very rare in a rental lol)! The bathroom has more room than it seems from photos. At 6'3, I wasn't sure if I'd fit in the shower, but there was plenty of room for me to stand beneath the shower head. Just outside the bathroom is a great laundry area with modern front load equipment, as well as plenty of storage space, cabinets, and closets throughout the unit. I found the bed to be quite comfortable. The pillows, sheets, and comforter were all cozy, and I enjoyed having the mini-split over the bed to stay cool on warm days and toasty on chilly nights. Plus, built in white noise! I didn't find the mini-split to be loud at all, and was able to sleep just fine. Speaking of noise... as I mentioned, this was my third consecutive basement rental, and was the best by far in terms of sound from above. The rental unit has high ceilings and must have some really good insulation, because you hardly ever hear anything from upstairs. The occasional foot steps here and there, or the dogs excitedly greeting someone when they get home. And the dogs are great! Super friendly and they love to say hi from the front porch when you pull down the driveway. The family living above is amazing! They are super kind, caring, and thoughtful, and are conscious that they are living above someone. Communication with them was fantastic, as was interacting with them on the property. They are totally respectful of your privacy, they're friendly, and all around just a couple of great people. The property is gorgeous and very well kept. Having access to everything it has to offer is another incredible perk to living there. If you're looking for clean, tidy, comfortable, private, turn-key, amenity loaded, welcoming spot within 20 minutes of downtown Asheville... look no further. This is the spot.
