House in Charleston, South Carolina
Landlord Tenure: 3 years, 3 months
Welcome to this beautiful classical-style house in Charleston, SC, surrounded by a path that leads straight to a lake and a picnic zone. The flooring is laminated wood, giving the house a cozy yet modern feel.

Good Middle Between Downtown and the Beach
This townhouse was about 10 minutes from Folly (when there is no traffic) and about 10-15 minutes to downtown. Commuting to MUSC was easy on the expressway while I was here and took about 20 minutes with traffic. The house has a nice screened in porch for when the weather is nice. Host was easy to communicate with and was flexible with problems/requests. Also right around the corner from James Island County Park if you like walking, climbing, or disc golf.
Perfect Centralized Location for Charleston and Beaches
My wife and I stayed at this property while I was working a 13 week contract at Roper Hospital. The location was perfect, close to Folly Beach (Best beach around) and just minutes from the downtown Charleston area. My commute each morning was about 10 minutes (3 am). Coming home was a bit more traffic but still nothing compared to other locations around Charleston. The Meridian residential area is very quiet with beautiful walking trails around the lakes. Everyone we encountered on our walks were extremely friendly and the numerous birds, turtles and other wildlife made our walks more enjoyable. We did have a small issue with the unit when we first arrived; however, the homeowners corrected the problem and we had no additional incidents. The owners should remove personal items from the closets, cabinets, refrigerator and freezer to allow renters to utilize those spaces. Looking forward to returning to Charleston in the future and will hopefully be able to rent the same area.
