Hidden Gem: Spacious, Upstairs, Centrally Located

Located in a quiet area of single-family homes where neighbors acknowledge you as you walk by. Always street parking within steps of the separate-entrance walkway. Large rooms that were great for our 3 yr old to run around in, and a nearby neighorhood park to ride his bike. Being on the second floor, you get privacy, great ventilation and sunset views, The unit is well provisioned. It's three minutes down the hill to gyms and the full range of Mission Valley shopping/food. Our initial stay was 4 mos., we renewed for another 4 mos. Best of all, a normal, helpful landlady. Smile.

initially went well until last couple of weeks of my stay. I was asked to turn off ac unit because LL complained of light bill being high- I was kind enough to contribute $100 towards the bill. my dog (ESA) was approved and made aware that she sheds. I moved out & aware of the standard cleaning fee $175 so no problem to take that out, LL messaged me about cleaning crew having to come back so another $175 would need to be taken out because of the dog hair (even though she tried to make it seem like the unit was atrocious by showing me two strands of my own hair on the base of the tube). I went ahead agreed to pay the extra- total $350 in which she agreed. Now every time she messages she adds a different service, it's steam the couches, it's steam the rug- if dog hair doesn't come out of the curtains then it may be another cleaning cleaning fee or replacement of curtains. the specifics of the dog hair is not in the lease agreement so now she's trying to make changes after the fact.
