Would Definitely Recommend To Anyone.

I moved to Jersey City for a short stay but moving into Mel's House made my experience even more comforting. The neighborhood was a great not noisy, it felt like home parking wasn't bad and Mel's Aunt was very accommodating and assisted when need. Thank you for having me would definitely recommend to anyone.

Thank you Lis! This was the perfect stay for my travel nursing contract. The house and room were exactly as described if not better. The living area was super cozy and I loved that they decorated for the holidays (made it a little easier to be away from family). The front room got a little cold bc there was an issue with the sealing of the windows but Lis was on it. She kept checking in, provided extra blankets and a space heater, and made sure I was warm. Parking was difficult - the street parking was limited d/t the frequent street cleaning. The highlight of this place was the convince of the light rail to get to downtown jersey city, Hoboken, and New York. Other things to mention- the shower didn’t get too hot and you have to throw the toilet paper in the trash and the dogs can be a little yappy below. Other than that I would recommend. My contact got extended the only reason I’m not staying is d/t the commute to the hospital- AM traffic adding an extra 40minutes

Short-term stay

I stayed at Casa34 for almost 6 weeks during my medical internship, and it was a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient just a short walk from the light rail station, which made getting to Bayonne, Hoboken, and even Manhattan super easy. Lis Mery was an amazing host. She was kind, responsive, and very accommodating when my boyfriend and sister came to visit. Whenever there was a minor issue in the house, she took care of it almost immediately. The room and the shared spaces were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt safe and at home during my entire stay. I would definitely stay at Casa34 again and highly recommend it to anyone coming for a rotation or short-term stay in the area.

Lis was great!

I stayed here for 4 weeks, and Lis was absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. She was very kind, responsive, and accommodating, always checking in to make sure everything was going well. The light rail is only a 2-minute walk from the house, which made commuting super convenient, and theres plenty to do in the area during your downtime. The only minor downside is that street parking can be tough if you come home later in the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommend Lis as a landlord!

I had the pleasure of staying at CASA34 for 3 months during a travel assignment. Lis was an amazing host. Very attentive and kept the place very clean (the light rail being a couple minutes away was a plus. I truly felt at home. Thanks for your hospitality.

Casa34 Review

Conveniently located next to the light rail for an easy commute throughout Jersey City/Bayonne/Hoboken as well as easy access to NYC. I took advantage of this during my travel assignment at Jersey City Medical Center. Parking was easy to find. There are produce shops within walking distance. Lis was easy to communicate with and was always attentive to any issues to ensure a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this spot!

I enjoyed my stay at Casa34 it was very clean and in a very convenient area. Street parking had its times but it was not horrible finding a parking spot close to the property. Landlord was very attentive and kind during my stay for my assignment :) thanks Liz!

Super welcoming

Very lovely apartment and the other tenants were very kind. The host is welcoming and even sends information about events in the area. Its conveniently located next to a light rail station so getting to Jersey City/Hoboken is easy. Would absolutely recommend this spot.

Cozy & Comfortable

I truly enjoyed my time at Casa 34! Lis is very welcoming and a delightful landlord. The place is in a great location. Lots to do and easy access to public transportation. The room was pristine and the bed comfortable. You can also see the of the Statue of Liberty from the bedroom window which is something I will really miss! Street parking can be annoying but I usually didnt have too much trouble finding a spot. Would definitely recommend.

Very caring and reliable landlord

The room condition is very nice! I got some cute welcome gifts when I arrived. The landlord was living right above so she responded fast if you have any inquiries or issues. She took care of the house and the tenants very well, and I think she is one of the best landlords I have ever had. Everything in the apartment is well-organized and labeled. I really like the book shelf and the working room. I had such a nice summer staying there!

Great place to stay!

I stayed here for a travel assignment & it was a really great place to stay. Lis is super sweet and accommodating and always reaches out to let you know things going on in the area. The location is also really accessible to public transportation so it aaa easy to explore jersey city or take walks. I had my car so the street parking was a little bit frustrating but wasnt terrible just something to keep in mind. Other than that it was a great place to stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful room in Jersey City while on a travel contract at JCMC, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. It was located in a prime area of Jersey City, it offered easy access to transportation just a 3 min walk to the light rail which was very convenient. The room itself was cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The decor was modern and inviting, and the amenities provided were top-notch. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in making the space feel like a home away from home. L was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. She always offered local tips and recommendations and went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience! Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jersey City. Home Away FromHome

This is where you want to be!!! The place is beautiful and even has a cleaning crew who comes in and makes it feel like a new stay every time they clean. The owner is amazing and really went above and beyond for the tenants during the holiday season. The location is literally near everything with the LightRail just 2 minutes in walking distance. I hate that I couldnt extend my contract in Jersey City. I definitely made this my home away from home and hated to leave the other tenants and my cozy room. This location is a must!!!

Stay in Jersey City

This place was a great find! L is so welcoming and very quick at responding via text or email. She made sure I felt welcome and at home during my stay. This place has great natural light and the room was spacious. Everything was clean and the kitchen has everything you could ask for, including a Keurig! The location for this stay was also great because it is just up the street from the Lightrail station (less than a 5min walk). Overall, I have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!
