Charming rental in central Galveston

This property was perfect for our needs and R was the easiest landlord we have dealt with. This unit is in a circa 1890 old house with addition of modern features. As with any old house, it has settled and some of the floors are unlevel, but we found it just gives the unit charm. Parking is ample and the furnishings are comfortable. The only issue we had was poor internet service and R quickly resolved the issue with a stronger router that penetrates thru 1890 walls. The laundry in the walk in closet was super convenient and there is an additional large closet at the entry. The unit is located on a very quiet street with easy access to all Galveston has to offer.

Nice, Safe, Quicky Property

This is a decent property in a good location. I always felt safe here and the neighbors are friendly. The owner was the best part of this rental. He is very friendly and strives to make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I did not have many issues, but the couple of times I did (non-major typical bug issues) he was very quick to respond and the issues were immediately resolved. The wifi can be slow and the connection is a bit hit or miss. However, I never addressed this issues with the landlord and I am sure if I had he would have tried to find a solution. The place itself is a bit quirky with the floors being a bit uneven but everything works as it should (except maybe the oven - the stovetop is fine). Really enjoyed having an in-unit washer/dryer. There are also nice kitchen utensils and a nice sized fridge. I was here for two months and it was an overall good stay.
