Great place
If youre a traveling healthcare professional this place is fantastic. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Lonnie and her husband are very welcoming and accommodating. The place has all the necessities. Easy access and great location. Id stay here again if I ever come back to Tacoma.
Couldn't have asked for a better spot!
I'm a single, female, travel OT and stayed here for my first 3 month contract and loved it! Perfect size for 1-2 people, safe area, close to everything you need. Also central for lots of outdoorsy things farther away like Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympics. I liked the windows for lots of light and nice to open when it's warm and sunny. I love to cook and the kitchen is the perfect size with all the cookware you need. Tons of storage; two bedroom closets, two hallway closets, bathroom closet and lots of cabinetry. The backyard is a great size; I used the dog door a lot for my cat. AC remotes were nice to have for easy temp adjustment in different areas of the house. The landlords thought of everything. Some other small things I appreciated were having a vacuum, blender, hairdryer, bathtub, and streaming device for the tv. Besides the house being great the landlords were so kind and helpful, always made sure I had what I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Cozy and convenient
We initially only booked to stay for 6 months, but ended up loving it so much we extended our stay another 3 months! The neighborhood is safe and welcoming, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and bars just a short walk or drive away. The home itself is cozy, clean, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place whether you're staying 3 months or 9! Overall, a great spot for convenience and comfort.
Lovely house in peaceful and safe neighborhood
A lovely house in a peaceful, safe, and well communicated neighborhood. New and very nicely furnished, comfortable, well stocked, and with all the amenities we could need for our 3-month stay. Our landlords were very kind and attentive, making us feel warmly welcome upon our arrival and throughout the entire stay. We would love to return to the Lil Brick House in the future!
Home away from home
I cannot say enough good things about this property. Tons of space, quiet neighborhood, and very close to my assignment at St Joseph. I would have stayed longer if I could have! L and L are attentive and quick to respond to any needs you have.
Clean, updated, and wonderfully located
L and Ls' place was welcoming from day one - a nicely renovated and decorated place in a central location. Fully stocked with all kitchen and bathroom essentials. Under 10 minutes drive to my assignment at St Joseph's and the wonderful Point Defiance Park. For days I was on call and couldn't get to PD park or the many WA hikes, the backyard was a tranquil spot to sit and relax as well. Lots of walkable spots on 6th Street - Valhalla coffee shop, da tiki hut, Tacoma pie pizza, sewing class, and hot yoga were among my strolls through a quiet neighborhood lined with people's lovely front gardens. I'd stay here again. Thanks L and L for having us!
