Secret Garden in Mid City - safe, gorgeous location by City Park

Must stay!

Liza and Jeff were the BEST hosts. They are always kind and super responsive. The home is in a fantastic spot, very safe with SO much parking (l even had a spot on parade night!) The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed for a month long stay. The garden is so peaceful no matter what time of day you're out there. Believe me, you'll be out there a lot. Liza and Jeff always know a place to go if you're unsure, and they offer a list of suggestions in the apartment. They live next door, so they're always available if you need anything (includinga cup of sugar... Thanks Liza!!) but they stay out of your way. If I weren't traveling with my dog (it's pet friendly here!) I likely wouldn't have seen them very much. That's how private it is. There are many places nearby that you can walk to, it's right by the trolley and bus lines to the French Quarter, and there were a TON of places to eat/drink just a 3 minute drive away. Scoop this place up if you see it's available!
