Lovely Rental and Great Hosts

Susan and John were accommodating and thoughtful. The rental is gorgeous and Healdsburg is a cute town with plenty to explore. I would absolutely recommend this rental and the hosts!

Absolute gem

Staying at John and Susans place was an absolute delight. The home itself is modern, minimalist, and thoughtfully designed, with two beautiful bedrooms and a cutting-edge aesthetic that flows seamlessly into the landscape. Tucked at the base of Finch Mountain and overlooking a Tuscany-like view, the setting carries a deep sense of peace and connection to the land. What truly makes this place special, though, are John and Susan. They are so generous in every way, and their dedication to their land and their guests shines through in every detail. The locally grown food they share is not only delicious but also a reflection of the care and love they put into everything they do. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed, cared for, and at home. If youre looking for a stay that is serene, nourishing, and touched with genuine warmth, this is the place. Lovely Healdsburg Home

Stayed at Susan and John's beautiful home for a month this spring. As a remote worker, it was nice to sit at the expansive kitchen island and enjoy the lovely view! They are wonderful hosts, eager to ensure we had a perfect stay. It was easy to get into town and we enjoyed nearby hikes. I highly recommend this home - a terrific property, charming hosts and a wonderful location to work and explore the nearby wineries!

Amazing property and hosts

I stayed with my friend Nick here for a month in March. The guest house is spacious, beautifully appointed, and a stunning view. I spent a lot of time working remotely from the huge island in the kitchen. Susan and John are some of the nicest hosts i've ever stayed with. They were very hospitable and it was a pleasure staying on their property.

Amazing stay

My husband and I stayed in John and Susans guest house for 7 months, spanning most of the summer, fall and into the winter. Season to season this is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Each detail of the home was thoughtful and well done. One of our favorite kitchens, spacious living, and heated floors in the colder months! John and Susan are lovely and you will feel very taken care of. Would absolutely recommend.

This place is such a beautiful place. It is in close proximity to town. Yet you have a beautiful view and such a quiet and tranquil setting. Amazing hikes straight from your door. The house is absolutely amazing. The kitchen is so modern and well stocked. Both bedrooms very large and have beautiful en suite bathrooms. The linens throughout the house are of high quality. The house is beyond clean. Susan is a wonderful hostess. They are the nicest people you could ask for. You will be extremely pleased if you get the pleasure of staying here in Healdsburg.

Tranquil Healdsburg Hills Retreat

This guest house has amazing views of Alexander Valley wine country and the Geyser's of Geyserville. The property also back's up to the Russian River. I couldn't wait to get up in the mornings and enjoy a coffee on the patio while watching the sunrise. Both the front and back patio's have built in ceiling heat. The front patio also has a stand alone heater which made it really cozy in cooler mornings. It was nice to have the back patio heat when BBQing at night. I also liked that both bedrooms were on the opposite ends of the kitchen for privacy when I had family and friends come to visit. The walk in showers have rain shower heads which is nice. The wine refrigerator came in handy too. There is also a lovely hiking trail nearby. As a traveling Nurse Practitioner x 5 years, I have stayed in a lot of homes and this one was by far the cleanest! The landlords are super nice and very attentive. Would love to be able to stay there again if I return for another assignment!!

Like a Second Home

As traveling nomads for the past 18 months, my wife and I are no strangers to short term housing. This was one of the absolute best experiences of our many home stays, we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at this amazing house on Scenic Lane. The location is ideal, a picture-perfect getaway but just a few minutes to downtown Healdsburg. The property itself is stunning with epic territorial mountain views along the Russian River Valley. Waking up to sunny rolling hills with fading fog was an incredible way to start the day, the star-filled skies a lovely way to end the night! The house is equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay, amazing finishes, top notch appliances and equipment, thoughtfully and beautifully curated. Lastly, the owners S and J are just the best! We felt an instant connection with them, and their personal touch and care was felt throughout the home. Truly could not have asked for better hosts!

5 Star Healdsburg Gem

This Healdsburg gem is 5 star in every way ! The view is something I wont soon forget ! Hosts S and J were very welcoming and so helpful in learning about the area. All the amenities are high quality and the craftsmanship is amazing. You feel as if you are way out in the country, but actually you are a short drive to downtown Healdsburg. Cant recommend more highly !

Gem is the right word for this property

Country setting about 2 miles from downtown Healdsburg. Peaceful, quiet location above the Russian River. Stunning views over the river to vineyards and Mt St Helena. Mornings and evenings provide painterly light. More than just a place to stay, though have to mention that all the necessities are there and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, modern and in perfect working order. Highly recommended if you have a month to spend in the wine country.

Wonderful Experience, Wonderful Views, Wonderful landlords

Everything about this property is extraordinary. The unit sits atop a hill overlooking the Russian river valley and the views are incredible and yes they do take your breath away. Inside we had everything we needed and it's well-appointed with modern finishes. The unit is private and quiet and very comfortable. The extras were great too, from electric window shades, to each room having its own A/C. S and J are wonderful hosts, very kind and very caring. I highly recommend staying here. My wife and I look forward to visiting Healdsburg again and hope that this rental is free. We loved it!
