Good Location But Noisy

Stayed here for a travel assignment at UNM. Place was recently renovated, but dirty/dusty upon check in and was charged a cleaning fee. Lots of issues with slow to respond management (pipes leaking on check in day and the hole in drywall not fixed until day of move out after maintenance cut to fix plumbing issues). Issues eventually did get fixed, but contractors would come into apartment while we were sleeping (night shift nurses) without notice. Place was extremely noisy from next door grocery store and thin walls.

Better places

Theres definitely better options out there. It looks cute at first3 bedrooms, full bath, good for me and my dogsbut the fenced backyard requires going out the front door to access it, which is inconvenient, especially in winter. On day one, the house was dirty: mold in a closet, moldy dishes in the dishwasher, dust everywhere, plus trash and food left behind. For nearly $2k, I expected it to be clean. When moving out, I thoroughly cleaned and documented everything with videos. Still, the landlord kept part of my deposit for damages I didnt cause and for dog hair, despite charging cleaning fees and allowing pets. I only got some money back after showing proof. Overall, just be cautious about what youre walking into.
