I had renewed with Joyce 3 times while I was on contract at CHOP. I enjoyed my experience here, she was very flexible and welcoming. I would absolutely love to return whenever work brings me back this way.

safe and clean

Previous guest here. The area felt safe, clean, and comfortable throughout my time here. Joyce was responsive and polite which made a big difference in my experience. Overall, my experience was smooth and enjoyable, and I would recommend this place to others who are considering it.

Great location!

Joyce is a great landlord. Here place is very clean and the best part is the free parking. It is street parking, first come. However, I was always able to find a park even working until 9pm. I stayed here for 9 months! There is a train and it is noisy. I bought earplugs and problem solved. The location is awesome if you're working in CC. And she has a cleaning crew that takes care of the shared areas! You won't regret staying here!

Great place!

I had a great stay at Joyces place! Joyce was a great communicator from the second I reached out about the property and throughout my time there. The house is in great condition with up to date appliances. Joyce does a great job cleaning the house as well. The location is good - walking distance to Center City, Graduate Hospital, Fitler Square, Rittenhouse and there is a bus stop just a few blocks away for the bus that takes you into the heart of the city. I worked at CHOP and was able to walk to work everyday. There are also several grocery stores within walking distances. I didnt bring my car to Philly and was able to get around just fine on foot or on public transit. I also felt safe walking around the immediate area during the day and evenjng. I would highly recommend Joyces place!

Poor Communication

Choose a different property. Security Deposit for Good Review: Upon accepting the booking request Joyce requests a 5 star review from tenants for an early full release of the security deposit. At one point all tenants were asked to "not use the oven" because the gas bill was too high. Issues with communication: Joyce mentioned a reduced price for a multiple month stay. This new rent was paid each month, without any indication of issue. However, the difference between the price we discussed for a longer stay was taken from the security deposit. Noise: The property itself is clean, feels relatively safe, but there is a curved train track 100 feet from the property. The trains have to brake to make this curve and the noise is LOUD. To the point of waking you up during sleep. Multiple trains every day and night. There are many other listings on this site. Would 100% recommend choosing a different one.

Nice house and stay

The house was very clean and modern. The host was also responsive and a pleasure to work with. I felt safe in the area and it was in a convenient location. Would recommend and would return again.

Great stay

I was in Philly for a month for work assignment and enjoyed my stay. Central location super close to Center city and University city. Very walkable and safe area near transit, restaurants, with the schyulkill river trail located nearby. I found the property to be very clean and comfortable with modern furnishings. Great host that is very courteous and responsive and gave me great tips about the city. Would stay here again as my first choice next visit.

Fun location, relaxed stay

I traveled to Philly for a work assignment and really enjoyed my time here. The apartment was clean, modern, and tastefully furnished. Neighbors were friendly, and the surrounding area felt safe and comfortably urban. Transportation to Center City and surrounding neighbors was very easy to access.

Wonderful place to stay for new ones

This is a wonderful place to stay for new ones, especially when you are fresh out of plane. I came to Philly for a approximate 4 week business trip and did not know anything about the city. The host gave me a list of restaurant recommendations, places of interests recommendations, grocery and so on. I will definitely recommend someone else who wants to come to Phyiladelphia.

Home Away from Home in a Great Location!

I had a wonderful experience staying here. From the moment I walked in, it felt like a home away from home. The space is thoughtfully decorated, super clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need. The furniture is not only stylish but also really comfortable, especially the bed. The WiFi was fast and reliable, which was important for me since I was working remotely during part of my stay. The location is great too-safe, walkable, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and public transportation. I also appreciated how responsive and kind the host was. Any time I had a question, they got back to me quickly and made sure everything was going smoothly. Whether you're in town for work, travel, or a longer-term stay, I cant recommend this place enough. Its the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and modern charm.

I had an amazing stay at this property in Philadelphia! The unit was immaculately cleaneverything was fresh and well-kept. The location is extremely convenient, near public transportation, restaurants, and major attractions, which made it easy to get around the city. If you are new to the city, I highly recommend staying here. The neighborhood is very safe and there is a bus stop that is within walking distance. Joyce is very responsive and ensures you are comfortable during your stay. My experience was extremely positive.

Philly Review

Stayed for 5 weeks. Clean, safe, secure, private, quiet. Great kitchen facilities, super location, nearby in street parking where I left my car untouched for 4 weeks. Cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Very accommodating landlady. Would stay there again.

As a doctor rotating for a four-week clinical experience in Philadelphia, I needed a convenient, comfortable, and quiet space to stay. The property itself was very clean, with spotless common areas and a tidy, well-organized kitchen and bathroom. Accessibility was a major plus here public transportation was just a short walk away, making it easy to get to the hospital and around the city. Grocery stores and some great local eateries were also within a reasonable distance. Overall, it was a positive experience. The environment was conducive to studying, with reliable Wi-Fi and a quiet ambiance in the evenings, perfect for unwinding and prepping for the next day. Hi, I am a doctor and used to go hospital everyday . It's 4min walk to the bus stop, a safe area accessible to all universities. The place and all the utilities were brand new. Room was also very cozy, neat and clean . Grocery store is a block away. Joyce, the home owner always responded immediately to my queries. Overall, a lovely and wonderful experience for my first visit to Philadelphia. Joyce is friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great stay and amazing host

Overall a great comfortable satisfactory experience 10/10 Property- Good spacious clean room, kitchen with utensils & basic necessities, WiFi, in-house laundry, shared bath with hot shower & towels included. Value for money rent price. Neighborhood- relatively safer compared to North Philly. Grocery, wine shop, US Postal Service, Chase ATM, McD at walking distance. Good view of University area, Children's Hospital and Center City skyscrapers. Transport- Bus 12 and 64 easily accessible by walking distance (are almost always on time) takes you to BSL metro Station within 15 minutes. Silent and peaceful for working and/or studying. Great hospitality from Joyce and overall excellent stay experience. Definitely would recommend staying here to everyone.

Amazing place and awesome super friendly owner

Hi I am a med student and I do rotations in different cities for 2-4 weeks. So I came to Philly for the same. I stayed at this place for a month. The place is very modern in a peaceful neighbourhood. Center city is just 2 stop away from the place. And omg the owner, one of the best house owner I ever had. The house has all the appliances which are brand new, all cooking essentials also. You won't go wrong staying at this place.
