Perfect Cottage
I rented this beautiful cottage for a month while I was doing an away rotation for medical school at the University of Washington. It was perfect! It was stocked with everything you might need (towels, bedding, cooking utensils, lots of storage, washer/dryer). The bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and idyllic. There are plenty of places to eat, get coffee, or grocery shop nearby, and if you need to take public transportation it is close to several bus routes. 10/10 stay, would recommend!
Cozy & comfortable place in great neighborhood
I was lucky to have a short stay in the backyard cottage. It's a perfect size for one person, and thoughtfully appointed, with all of the amenities needed for a short or longer stay. All the spaces are used well and it doesn't feel cramped or cluttered. I appreciated being able to unpack and put away all of my things in the drawers, cupboards, and baskets. I loved how the bed worked well for sleeping and also as a daybed for reading or watching TV. Although I couldn't stay long this time, I can tell how comfortable the house would be in any season for an extended stay. The location is also great - it was very easy to get around without a car as well - between the bus and all of the amenities within walking distance, it was easy to explore Seattle and find the things I needed.
Garden Studio
I stayed in this cute cottage for 3 months during a travel contract. The cottage is very cute but small, for being small the space is very well utilized and I had enough room for myself and one cat. I worked night shift during those three months and I had no issues with noise or being too bright. There were days that Creagh had notified me in advance that they would be out working in the yard before my shifts which was very kind, and I still had not been woken up by any noises. It's a very safe neighborhood with plenty of parking and walkable to bus stops, restaurants and coffee shops. Creagh is a great host and I would love to stay here again if I return to Seattle in the future.
Charming Cottage
I stayed here for an entire year (through three travel nurse extensions at Seattle Children's). I would absolutely love to stay here again for several reasons. I loved the location, as it was in a walkable and safe neighborhood. I enjoyed being able to walk to the library, grocery store, or local cafes and coffee shops. It is also close to several bus stops. The cottage itself is tiny, but it was perfect for me as a single travel nurse. There were several times where I had a family member or a friend visit, and it was easy to pull out the trundle bed for them. Creagh and Bert have created such a beautiful space. They have done a phenomenal job of optimizing space and function while maintaining a cozy and cute atmosphere full of light. I will greatly miss hearing the rain gently fall on the roof, seeing the berries pop up in the backyard, watching the squirrels or birds through the window, and cooking with herbs I picked from the garden. I hope to stay here again in the future and highly recommend this property! :)
