Little Slice of Heaven

My husband and I lived on the coast in Encinitas for many years before moving away. We return in the winter for work and decided to stay away from the bustling/busy coast at this lovely property in Olivenhain. What a treat! This location is a slice of heaven, quiet and peaceful, but still so easy to get to shops, freeway, etc. My husband is a professional cyclist and we spend a ton of time outside, so the location could not be more ideal for riding, running, hiking etc. We brought our golden doodle with us and she loved all the local trails and neighbor dogs. We made so many new friends in the neighborhood during the time we were there. The owners even built a special dog run for our dog, so she could locate it from the patio with a screen flap on the door. We really appreciated the special gesture. They were also incredibly communicative and responsive anytime we needed something or had questions. We highly recommend this property!

the colony of Olevenhain

My wife, dog and I could not have been happier. This apartment is newly furnished and well laid out. The neighborhood is very quiet at night with very little road noise or traffic as it is on a dead end street. There are two equestrian centers just across the street. Furniture is stylish and comfortable. Great ventilation with windows open and a good air conditioner in the window when needed. The owners couldnt be nicer or more accommodating. It is above a garage so there are steps but you feel like you are in the trees and above the fray. I was introduced to Mexican limes grown in the yard which are great for margaritas. We cant recommend this highly enough.
