Do NOT stay here!

I moved in to find NO hot water. I reported it the first night and was told I was using too much water. It took 8 days to replace the tank, during which time I heated water on the stove just to wash my hair. The home was filthy! Roach and bug carcasses everywhere, sticky floors; I took many pictures. Management said roaches are normal in NC, but Ive lived here 30 years and never had this issue. Maintenance often came after 7pm, and when the tank was replaced, the stove went out and took days to fix. On my last day, the washer broke. I asked for a rental adjustment, not a full refund, but was told these issues were out of their control and they offered nothing. While I understand things happen, landlords must ensure homes are functional or compensate tenants. Photos online are misleading; the furniture is stained and the unit very poorly maintained. Please learn from my mistake & do not stay here!
