Highly Recommend - Great for young women!

I stayed here for three months while completing an internship in DC and had a really positive experience. The house was clean, well-maintained, and felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Ally was responsive and made the move-in and move-out process very easy. The location was super convenient as well — close to the metro and a grocery store, which made getting around DC and daily errands really simple. I also appreciated living with other young women working and interning in the area since everyone was respectful and on similar schedules. I especially appreciated how helpful maintenance was during the big snowstorm while I was there. As someone from who had never really dealt with snow before, it was nice knowing the entrances were being salted and shoveled quickly to keep everything safe and accessible. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for short-term housing in DC for internships, school, or work!

Definitely recommend!

I stayed for about four months and had a pleasant experience. The house is maintained well and very clean upon arrival. The move-in and move out process was seamless and Ally is a great and responsive host!! It made my transition to DC very smooth and I am so grateful!! Would definitely recommend as a transition or short term living space for school, work, ect.

I stayed here for just under a year while completing an internship in DC and had a great experience. I highly recommend renting from Ally she does an excellent job maintaining the apartment and is always quick to respond to any concerns. She was also very flexible in extending my lease to fit my schedule. The property itself is comfortable, conveniently located, and overall a wonderful place to stay!

Could not have been luckier to be able to call this place home!

I echo everything everyone else has said. It was the best and most comfortable living arrangement for over a year. The location was ideal for anyone who relies on public transit to navigate the DMV area. Ally's top priority is her tenant's comfort and safety. She is always keeping the house in great shape and easy to contact, if needed. You will want to be willing to live with up to four other women at any given time, however, when all rooms were leased, it never felt like five people lived in the house. Each housemate has been courteous and communication has been open.

I had a fantastic two month stay here during my clinical rotation. The apartment is clean, safe, and spacious for the rent price. The roommates were friendly, and the landlord was responsive and communicative, always improving the property. The location is excellent, with parking available. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

This apartment is very clean, safe, and the rooms are very big for the price of rent. The roommates are all professional working woman and have been great to live with. The landlord is very responsive and professional, and is always making improvements to the apartment. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Great place to stay at

Everything was well furnished and clear instructions to move on. Very large house. Helpful to be across green line. Wi-fi sometimes came in/out due to storms, but landlord has very good communication to fix asap.

I spent 4 months living at this property while completing an internship in DC and had a really positive experience!! The owner/property manager was extremely responsive and helpful, and very kind. The house was beautifully furnished and equipped, especially the kitchen which was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies and equipment! Everything was very clean and in good condition-comfy bed, nice linens and towels, cleaning supplies etc. The house is in a great location, right across from a Metro stop, but was quiet for sleeping. All of the housemates were very pleasant and kind, and similarly working or studying. Would absolutely recommend for students or young professionals looking for short term stays in DC.

Great place for short term stay

I was looking for a place to stay in DC when I found out I was placed there for a clinical rotation and came across A's place on furnished finder. She responded promptly to my inquiries about the house/room and answered all the questions I had regarding the place. She also connected me to one of the current tenants to provide a tour of the place which was very helpful in being able to see the place since I couldn't be there in person. My stay here was really great and A remained responsive/easily accessible and took care of any issues in a timely manner. All the other tenants were also completing their internships/rotations/work placements in the area as well and A does a great job of screening tenants. Everyone is very pleasant to live with and the place itself has everything you would need for a short-term stay (fully furnished)! I would definitely recommend considering this place if you are looking for a temporary place to stay as a student or in a traveling profession!

Month Stay

What a wonderful experience staying here! I stayed here for a month during a clinical rotation, and from the minute I started renting to the second I left, I had a great experience. The roommates were great and friendly, and the tenant was very communicative.

Amazing Landlady, Place, and Experience! 10/10 would recommend!

I stayed there for a summer and had an amazing time. The owner is an great landlady who accommodates you at every turn and is very responsive to questions and requests. She is the best landlady I have ever had and I wish she owned every property I rented. She made move-in and move-out easy and always ensured that my stay was comfortable. She is also just a nice and impressive person that would find any way to help you. I cannot recommend her enough. The place itself is also great. It is 25 steps from a metro stop and spacious to accommodate yourself and visitors. It is pretty big for one person when you see it in real life. The AC was wonderful and the kitchen is fully stocked (and the gas stove is a huge plus). It is fully furnished and comes with all your basic necessities. Everyone who visited my place commented that it was such a steal and wondered how I found it. I could not recommend this place more!! Thank you for everything! 10/10 would stay there again!

Best stay I could've asked for

This house is amazing in every way! Beautiful, clean home with all of the amenities you could need. It is in a great location -- friendly neighborhood with lots of good food nearby, a block away from the metro, and ample street parking. The living room and kitchen are perfect spaces that make you feel at home, and the kitchen has so many appliances for cooking and baking. All of the bedrooms have super comfy beds, a TV, and decent size closets. A is truly the best host you could find -- she is so easy to communicate with and is eager to help you with anything that arises. She also does a great job at screening all of the applications to make sure everyone living in the house will get along and be respectful. I could not recommend this place enough.

Amazing accommodations and terrific landlord!

I stayed in this room for one month as I was settling into DC coming from Missouri. I just needed somewhere to stay until I found a permanent home. I really enjoyed staying here because it's an all-female residence, so I felt comfortable with the girls I lived with. A, the landlord, was so kind throughout my stay. She's highly communicative and responds to messages immediately. I signed a lease to stay here within hours of finding it online and contacting her. There's a CVS around the corner and a Safeway a block away. It is farther away from where I work and Capitol Hill area, but the metro station is about 20 feet away from the front door. Appliances are updated and I had plenty of storage space in the pantry and fridge. The bathroom and shower are spacious and there's room under the sink for storage. The best part was the ginormous TV in the room. Great place to stay!

Excellent!!

This was a wonderful stay! Ally is very friendly, reachable, and attentive. The neighborhood is very walkable and quiet. I felt safe, which was very important to me. The apartment has all the amenities one could need. f I were to work in DC again, I would definitely stay here again.

Great homeowner - highly recommend

I've been a tenant of the homeowner at another one of her DC properties since July '22. Nothing but good things to say. She's extremely communicative, courteous, and kind, and I hope to remain a tenant for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend.
