I am trans woman of color who is a nurse that was sexually and physically assaulted by a patient and then my contract was terminated over it. This woman is forcing me to stay in a situation that I no longer can be in. She forced me to give her first, last and a deposit. Which was never advertised on her page. I have signed a new contract in NY and she refuses to refund my money for December. Even though I've given her a months notice and she has actually found a replacement tenant. She believes that because my assault inconvenienced her, she should not have to refund the money I paid for December and will not return my deposit. She has made racist and ignorant comments towards my identity and has accused me of being ghetto". Because she knows that I am leaving for NY at the end of Nov she will not only collect rent for the tenant set to replace me but also keep my money I paid for December. She also has left me with no functioning heater in freezing temperatures. Stay away!

Owners (B and her son R) are very quick to respond, easy going and quick with fixes if needed. Very helpful and understanding! An easy yes to renting from them. C
