Great experience

I had a wonderful stay at the cottage apartment. It was very cozy and truly felt like a home away from home. The landlord was extremely helpful and responsive, which made my stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay.

Cozy Stay at Songbird Cottage

This home was perfectly located in a quiet and safe neighborhood with quick access to stores and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. The house was equipped with everything you might need for a short or long term stay and the landlords were very responsive to any maintenance requests we had during our time there. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the area.

Stay in Songbird Cottage

My time spent in the Songbird Cottage was lovely. The cottage is in such a beautiful area and the neighborhood is great. Christie is a wonderful host and made sure I had everything I needed while staying here. I couldn't recommend more, and will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area again!

Quiet retreat

Wonderful, quiet cottage surrounded by nature! Great owners and easy communication. I loved the screened in porch, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it! Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Every room has a nice view that feels like you're in a tree house! I highly recommend this wonderful cottage as it's a nice, peaceful place to come home to after a long, hectic hospital shift.

Peaceful Retreat

When you've given up on finding even a "nice" place & then just hoping for safe/secure place...don't give up hope. The Songbird Cottage is tucked away on a private drive in a safe neighborhood w/a short convenient 2 mi drive/bike ride to grocery & coffee, & a short stroll to the waters edge for water views. The sweet cottage itself was a relaxing clean space to come back to. Quiet & filled with natural light & ample living space w/ conveniences/wifi. My favorite part was the screened in porch where I enjoyed morning yoga/meditation or just coffee & evening dinners. The bed was comfortable w/plenty of work space & closet space for my items. It was just me but the additional guest room was available for me to have visitors during my time here. Having a cleaning service was a treat! I enjoyed my 5 mi walks in the morning & hitting the CNU stadium for my stadium stair climbing. I actually wish I could stay longer. I liked the area so much I'm becoming a permanent resident. Visit the area!

Amazing Stay!!

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely place for a few months while I was working in Virginia! The place is very clean, safe, and had everything I needed! Owners were very quick to respond and very communicative if they needed to do anything to the property. Cleaning crew was great as well! Neighborhood was very safe especially as a young women traveling alone. I even trained for a half marathon in the neighborhood and streets nearby! Couldn't recommend this place more!

Amazing short term housing - would recommend to everyone

I stayed in the property for a period of 90 days over the summer. This furniture is beautiful and the house is extremely clean. The windows let in lots of natural light and the space is incredibly cozy. There is a massive backyard and it is located in a very safe neighborhood tucked away from street traffic (perfect for running). It is close to many local restaurant and groceries stores. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. Additionally, having the cleaning service every two weeks was great! The carport is covered and it comes with all of the amenities a guest would ever need. Overall my stay was quiet and relaxing. My rating is a 12/10.
