Came as a guest, left as family!

So sad to leave, truly felt like home. Greg is an incredible host with attention to detail. The home itself was comfortable and peaceful which is exactly what I needed as a first time traveler. The backyard is gorgeous and perfect for a cup of coffee and some reading in the morning. I stayed in The Stag and it had everything I needed. I loved the private bathroom inside the bedroom. The design of the bathroom makes one feel luxurious. What blew me away was Gregs willingness to make me feel right at home. I use a single cup coffee maker back home & Greg went above and beyond to purchase one so I would have everything I needed. I enjoyed hosting a bonfire and movie night for my birthday in the home & again Greg provided whatever he could to make it a successful night. I was about 8 minutes from work & would often stop at the nearby Dunkin Donuts before my shift. There is a grocery store in our backyard which was super cool! Absolutely loved living here!

Home away from home

Its a very conducive, peaceful and quiet house. Its literally home away from home. Everything you need is provided for. The landlord Greg and his partner are amazing hosts! They made sure I was very comfortable, dropped me off at the airport twice, gave me a warm welcome, treated me to my first lobster dinner! Amazing experience and a place Ill love to visit again! I highly recommend this house to anyone in the area!

Will absolutely return

One of the nicest homes I've shared. G&F think of every detail (housekeeping, amazing linens, noisemakers, bottled water, new appliances)- house is impeccable, owners are onsite and always available. They create a sense of community with game nights, wine tastings and lobster bakes, while at the same time providing a peaceful, quiet atmosphere with plenty of privacy. Walkable to the best Westbrook has to offer, 10mins from downtown Portland.

The Keep at Stroudwater

If I could give a million star review I would!!! My stay at The Keep at Stroudwater was phenomenal to say the least. G and F are two of the lovliest human beings I have ever met. The house was always maintained in excellent condition with attention to detail at every turn. This is a property that I would return to time and time again whenever I travel to Maine, be it for work or personal reasons. For anyone seeking a cozy home vibe with plenty of amenities close to Portland, without the heavy Portland prices, this property is a no-brainer. It is obvious that I highly recommend a stay at The Keep at Stroudwater, so for anyone seeking a beautiful, relaxing, cozy environment, I say "Look no further..." Thank you G and F for making my stay everything that I expected and more!

Quiet and Luxurious

I can't recommend this home more highly. Beautiful historic house with a modern kitchen, all the technology you want, a lot of lawn and gardens, comfortable furniture, spacious rooms, and a supportive, caring, family-like atmosphere. It's also walking distance from Westbrook village which is becoming known for it's restaurants and breweries. Gregg and Fairfield will welcome you into their community and you make you feel like you're in your own home.

Ultra modern apartment in a very nice neighborhood. Hannaford is just right behind the house. Its got all you can ever need and more. The owners are just a sweet couple who are fun to be with. Its just like living in a 5 star hotel. They even provide you with dispenser water
