A perfect oasis

We had the absolute best experience renting from Kim and Tyler. The location is unbeatable, just off Telegraph and within walking distance to every kind of food you could possibly crave, plus Whole Foods, the post office etc. Their beautiful garden was full of fresh herbs, lemons, and limes that we were welcome to enjoy. K + T were incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely a delight to rent from. They struck the perfect balance of being available when needed while still giving us plenty of privacy. Sharing laundry was seamless and never once an issue. The ADU itself is amazing. The space is thoughtful and has efficient use of the space. A standout feature was the heating and cooling units in both the living room and bedroom—an incredible comfort upgrade that made a huge difference. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—100/10 experience!

Just what I needed

I had an amazing experience at this sunny cottage. K and T were amazing! Very hospitable, friendly, welcoming and always available and eager to help me with anything that I needed. I felt very safe and comfortable knowing they were nearby. The communication was always quick and they were very responsive. I was sad to leave their place as it was walking distance to the hospital I was working at which made the cottage even more desirable. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

Had a great stay

This small cabin was a perfect size for 2 people. We stayed very comfortably for 2.5 months. Owners are very kind and helpful. Would absolutely stay there again.

Everything you need in a perfect location

We loved our stay at Kim and Tylers' place. It had everything we needed, and the space was extremely functional and well designed. There were so many thoughtful touches to make the space feel comfortable and homey. The neighborhood is great, with a whole foods and lots of eateries literally around the corner and Kim and Tyler were very responsive with any questions or requests. They were also accommodating as we were traveling with our two young children and were very kind to set us up with everything we needed. We're so grateful to them for the time we spent there!

K & T's sunny cottage was an awesome place to land. They are super respectful and kind hosts, and have taken great care of the cottage. It's in an amazing location - close to public transit, a 5 min walk to Whole Foods, and proximate to so many fun shops and restaurants. The space was thoughtfully arranged, it's remarkably quiet given how close it is to the train and a popular local bar, and the shower is amazing. I would've stayed longer if I could! Thank you K & T!

Perfect guest house

I loved staying at this property. Its in a neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. I also walked to the grocery store, MacArthur Bart station (on occasion), and the farmers market. You could definitely live here and not need a vehicle. However, if youre a commuter there is very easy freeway access from this property. Kim and Tyler are great hosts. Always very responsive and considerate. I would definitely stay here again if I have another contract in Oakland.

Best location and value!

This place was perfect for our needs! From the prime location (Local organic food store, Walgreens, Whole Foods and incredible restaurant options within a 5 min walk, as well as a Sunday farmers market!) to the beautiful garden backyard, we really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very communicative and easy to coordinate with, and made sure we had everything we needed. Theres shared laundry with the main house, and free parking too. I would absolutely stay here again if we need to be in the East Bay.
