House in Post Falls, Idaho
Landlord Tenure: 3 years, 1 month
This 1-Bed 2-Bath Guest House is set at the top of 5-acres of White Fenced Farmland & Prairie land. The entire development has the white fences across the rolling hills, and the occasional Vintage Old Red Barn completes the Hallmark-Like atmosphere. A vintage styled "Outhouse" serves as a focal point for the outdoor fire-pit area, and doubles as a storage shed for lawn chairs, fire starters, coolers, lawn toys, fishing poles...a...
Even though this unit sleeps 4-6, and that would be fine for a vacation or weekend, this Guest House is really super comfortable for a couple, or a single individual. Built like a Townhouse, the entire upstairs is a Master Bedroom complete with big-screen TV, sitting area, closets, remote-controlled blinds, and a half-bathroom. Downstairs is decorated in a Sports Bar motif, but is complete with living, dining, kitchen, storage,...
The entire neighborhood is made up of 5-acre parcels with rolling small hills, some barns, horses, etc, and all separated by white fences. Very beautiful setting with mountains in the background, and spectacular sunsets. And yet only 10 minutes from downtown Coeur d'Alene or Post Falls.
Very cool place to stay
Great place for travelers. Really cool space set up for hanging out when off work. If you're a music fan, David is your guy. Townhouse is attached to a recording studio with occasional recording heard on occasion in the evening. The bands are really good so ill admit that I was singing along with a few. Landlord is very respectful and easy to work with. Would stay here again.
Cute little man-cave, but the amenities leave much to be desired
The kitchen is tiny, offering very little storage space, and the stove is just dreadful! The burners are small and the pots/pans provided are all standard-sized, yielding in incredibly uneven cooking and even wasted food. It gets super stuffy and you get limited control over the temp. Accessing the parking spot requires off-roading, and though its just a short distance, its something my car is simply not designed for really. Youre also responsible for your own waste removal there and I honestly wouldnt have minded so much, had there at least been some sort of pathway to take it down, but theres not. You have to drag that huge thing over grass and gravel; quite the feat! To make matters worse, delivery isnt an option there, something I wish Id known beforehand bc I wouldve never even entertained the notion of selecting this place! But lesson learned lol. While Im always grateful for housing, sometimes its just not a good fit. I hope the next tenant will be a better fit.
Rental for travel nurse
I am a travel nurse that travels with my husband, we have been doing this for about 5 years and this is one of the best properties we have rented for an assignment! Location is great, quiet and safe. The landlord D and his family are the nicest people and treated us like family! We loved it so much we ended up staying about 6 months. If you are looking for a cool house with lots of space, great location and an awesome landlord, this is the spot! Thanks again for having us D! Hoping to come back in the future. M & S
