Ideal for Healthcare Travelers!

I felt so comfortable staying at Mary's place during my contract at UW Health - couldn't have asked for a better setup. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable home away from home in a safe location, this is it. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything I needed and the roommates I had were very respectful of each other. The location is ideal for those wanting to be on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to all the amenities of the city (great restaurants, walking trails, parks, etc). I rode the UW Badger bus to the main campus every day, which was the perfect setup! Mary's place is just a short drive from the park and ride, and the bus runs every 20-30 minutes to/from the main hospital campus. The best part is that it only costs $30/month for the shuttle vs having to pay for parking at the hospital! I would definitely stay at Mary's place again.

This is the best place to stay in Madison. The location and neighborhood is awesome, the house is very neat and cozy. It's the place that makes you feel at home and gives the same peace. I stayed there for 3 months and it was the best time I had! And also Mary is a great host!!

Peaceful house and neighborhood

I had a wonderful stay at this rental tucked on the Northside. The space was exceptionally clean, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. There was also ample space throughout the home, so it never felt crowded and allowed for both relaxation and privacy. The home itself was very cozy and peaceful—perfect for unwinding after a long day. I also appreciated the experience of having roommates during my stay; it added a nice sense of community while still maintaining a quiet and respectful atmosphere. Mary was an excellent host and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Both the neighborhood and the living environment were incredibly quiet and felt very safe, which added to the overall sense of comfort. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and tranquil stay with a welcoming environment.

The host was fantastic! She respected her tenants privacy, was excellent at communicating, and was proactive about making any accommodations.

Cozy, quiet property near park and lake access

I stayed here with two other healthcare students for a couple months. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel at home thanks to M's efforts in furnishing and stocking the house. M was prompt in all communication and quick to address any needs or concerns we had throughout our stay. She regularly checked in to make sure everything was going okay. The house was comfortable and spacious with easy access to a park (~5 min walk) and access to Lake Mendota (~10 min walk). The in-home washer and dryer were awesome, and there was plenty of space to store food and personal items. M also kept a good stock of cleaning supplies for us to use. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe for going on walks and runs. There's a coffee shop (~8 min walk) nearby that has great donuts and chicken sandwiches. Overall, very happy we got to stay here and would recommend to future travelers.
