Charming Private Studio

Great small studio for one person. Well decorated. Located in a great safe residential neighborhood and close to restaurants/ gym- could walk there! Very close to Memorial Medical! Has all basic things you need. Heater works great in the winter months! Would be a great place for nightshifters as well- very quiet and landlord has blackout curtains. Landlord was accommodating and flexible- will provide things if request/ needed. Only negative- not a lot of storage for clothing. But overall, would recommend this place and rent this place again!

I was supposed to stay at this property for my current assignment. My start date was originally 7/3. It was pushed back by my company by 1 week as these things happen with travel healthcare. I informed the landlord as soon as I was notified by my company. The landlord was upset about this delay and wanted me to pay for the original days I was going to stay at their property. I said no I was not going to pay for days I was not going to be there and asked for my $500 refundable deposit back. Since then the landlord has stopped communicating with me and has yet to return my $500 refundable security deposit. I also had to scramble last minute to find another place to stay during my assignment because of the landlord's unwillingness to negotiate. I'm writing this review to warn potential tenants about this landlord's behavior.

I am a traveling RN and the first person in this unit! The space is perfect for long term stays! Small kitchenette, full bathroom, queen bed and small patio. Air conditioner/heater. Quiet with privacy! No barking dogs! I work the night shift and was able to get a full days rest without interruptions. Shared a room in a house (awkward living situation) and ended up moving out early when I saw this places. Im so happy I have my own space! Close to shops, gas station and Sutter Memorial. A person could bike to the hospitals. Safe and clean neighborhood with kids playing outside! Owner is nice and welcoming but also gives you your space.
