Underwhelming location and house with a micromanaging landlord

I stayed here for 6 months with my girlfriend and wouldnt do it again. Pros: 1. New, working appliances and fittings 2. Fully furnished 3. No scams; full security deposit returned 4. One parking spot 5. Landlord did help a couple of times Cons: 1. Very small, minimal natural light; at 6'1 my head hit the ceiling in multiple spots, including by the stove 2. Landlord mandated a de-humidifier even in peak winter and did not budge despite telling him that it was causing skin/nasal issues. This unit was very noisy and a huge nuisance. 3. Landlord tried to dictate heat/AC settings; bathroom stayed very cold in winter 4. Constant repairs and contractor noise throughout the stay; major issue since my girlfriend worked from home 5. Overpriced for a not-so-nice neighborhood and apartment; similar units available nearby (e.g., Dedham) 6. No kitchen exhaust; must open a window and use a fan while cooking each time

The Apartment was great!

We had a great experience with our short-term lease in the Boston area. The space was exactly what we needed-clean, comfortable and just as described. Everything was perfectly maintained, and it felt like a home away from home. The landlord was extremely accommodating and very responsive if we had any questions. This made our stay even better. We truly appreciated the ease and professionalism throughout. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free, positive rental experience!

Perfect stay.

The apartment had everything I needed to feel safe and at home while traveling for work. I loved being close to Boston and the many surrounding towns with so much to see and do. It was always nice to go back home at the end of the day, either working or exploring, to the beautiful apartment with so many amenities. Al was the perfect landlord to work with and always available for anything I needed. I highly recommend!!
