Amazing host and apartment
The cutest apartment and the best host I have ever experienced. Teresa was extremely kind and the apartment is close to everything you need- bus stops, grocery stores, urgent care- literally anything you need is in walking distance. I was staying with my mother and baby and had the most comfortable and welcoming experience away from home. Couldnt have asked for a better place.
Great little place in a wonderful neighborhood!
This property is such a little gem! Very cozy and has everything you will need including a brita water filter and coffee maker. It is small and doesn't have the fancy amenities but for a basement, it's about as nice as they come. It feels light and airy inside and not at all "basement-y". The AC is strong which is a must in DC heat. The decor feels homy and cozy too. I also love the washer/dryer just outside of the unit! Personally my favorite part (and our cats' favorite part) was the large patio just outside the backdoor that had several tables and even a hammock. Teresa, the property owner/manager, is extremely kind and accommodating. She even gave us some coffee and breakfast stuff to get us started on the first day of our stay! The neighborhood is just gorgeous - very safe, lots of trees and right by Rock Creek Park. Additionally it is walkable to the lovely Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market, shopping, restaurants and the green line metro. Overall I would recommend staying here
