My husband and I had a lovely stay at Recess Retreat in October, 2025. The property is very well appointed and the host is very attentive. The property is an easy drive to Tallahassee and there are many nearby places to explore, among them--Natural Bridge State Park, St. Marks Lighthouse and Wakulla Springs State Park. The property is in an area that has an 'Old Florida' feel to it that is very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful and Restful stay in a beautiful property!
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property! The homeowner, Carolyn, was wonderful and attentive to all our needs. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxed and restful stay in a beautiful environment. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Nice quiet location in the Country
Property is about 25 minutes to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, but it was an easy drive. very quiet location in the country where you will see deer regularly and can see all the beautiful stars at night. Homeowner, Carolyn, was always available if needed. The only negative is that the road getting to the tiny home was a 3/4 mile dirt road with pot holes.
