Beautiful cottage + location

I stayed at Marlo's cottage for 6 months on a travel nursing contract and it was such an amazing place to stay! The cottage has beautiful high ceilings, plenty of storage, newly updated appliances and is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Marlo and her family we wonderful hosts and very attentive to any needs I might have. The neighborhood is very quaint and serene and I was walking distance to the beach and restaurants downtown. I highly recommend staying here if you want a clean, modern, peaceful place to temporarily call home (:

Beautiful and charming

I stayed here for about 5 months while on an assignment. The landlord Marlo was amazing! She accommodated any of my needs and was extremely nice and hospitable. The apartment itself was equipped with just about everything you would need. It was also located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and just a mile away from the beach. If I get the opportunity I would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home, location, and host

My wife and I stayed here for six months while I worked at Highland Hospital, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is idealjust a 10-minute walk to a beautiful park and beachside trails. Alameda offers a safe, suburban escape with stunning views and is perfect for walking or biking anywhere on the island. The house is updated and high-quality, though small with limited storage. However, Marlo has maximized the space with thoughtful additions like a bathroom wardrobe and an outdoor storage shed. Despite traveling with more belongings than most, we made it work by utilizing every corner and adding bed risers for extra storage. Marlo and her family were amazing hostsaccommodating, communicative, and a pleasure to know. We loved our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. If we're ever back in the area, we'd happily stay here again.
