Cozy Long-term Rental

I had a great stay at this apartment as a long-term rental over the last year. It was fully furnished (including cookware) and had space to store my ski and bikes indoors. The landlord was very accommodating, apartment was clean, utilities worked well, street parking was always available. Loved sitting on the balcony to relax and/or study. There was also great natural sunlight in the apartment throughout the day for the whole year. Awesome central location. I played at soccer fields near by and ran/walked with my dog from the apartment to downtown and Bates college. I worked at the hospital near by and walked everyday from the apartment. As a younger female, I felt very safe in the neighborhood and folks were respectful of the property limits.

I am a travel nurse. I chose this apt because of it's size (3 BR) and it's proximity to CMMC which is walking distance (8 min). During the warmer months the apt was cooled by a window unit in the main BR, during the cold months the heat worked well and was controlled by the person living in the downstairs apt.The washer and dryer were available to both residents, and cooperative in their use. The internet was fast. In the summer, the only difficulty I experienced was the vast amount of mentally unstable people speaking loudly on the streets at all hours of the day and night. The apt and all it's amenities are TOP NOTCH and the owner is wonderful, responsive and friendly. I was able to adopt a kitten locally while there and with the owner's cheerful encouragement! I highly recommend this apt,- the price was good, the location close to the hospital, and the friendly owner all contributed to a fantastic experience.

Great Apartment

This is a charming little apartment. I stayed here during my last few rotations in medical school. The apartment is centrally located and walking distance to local hospital (Central Maine Medical Center).
