Multiple issues

I had many issues while living here that took forever to resolve. Got to the rental late at night and the place was dirty. Had a pipe bust in the shower second night. Ceiling leaking above kitchen table too. Complained about a possible raccoon in the ceiling and it took almost two months before someone fixed the holes in the siding and set traps. When I first arrived they had a bedroom door for the main entrance for that apartment. A bedroom door!! Took over a month to exchange for a fire safety door with a deadbolt. The other half of the house is an Airbnb and had multiple issues with guest not locking the main door that leads into the house, being loud and parking in my spot. Laundry is not private and you share ONE washer and ONE dryer for 4 properties in the basement of the main house. The shower is tiny! I've been traveling for years and this was the first property I had this many issues with. Personally I think the property is overpriced.

comfy and quiet

I stayed here for almost 5 months. It was very comfortable and quiet. Off street parking, full kitchen, private laundry. Very close to the Motor Speedway and plenty of things to do on Main Street. I would stay here or with Dale again in the future. The one issue I did have while there he was quick to fix and tried his best to work around my schedule!

I would first like to say that the Owner of this property has been extremely professional and prompt since I inquired about my stay back in Jan. Upon arrival the property was clean/organized and its located less than 5 mins from downtown. The area is really quiet and Ive never had an issue with my neighbors. As a travel nurse, I wanted to be sure that I enjoyed my stay and felt safe. This property has exceeded my expectations. Id also like to mention that the maintenance crew has been awesome/friendly. They are available upon request. If my 6 month contract wasnt coming to an end, I would stay so much longer! Thanks for everything! :)

Nurse Hideaway

This little hideaway is perfect for the nurse working day or night shift. This cozy duplex is part of the main house that is in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and Main St. I highly recommend Dawsons on Main and Charlie Browns Steak and Pancake House! The bedroom is in the back of the unit and has black out curtains with a queen size bed that is perfect for sleeping (I worked night shift). This roomy space has a great living area with TV, We play musical instruments and had plenty of room for setup, The kitchen was equipped with amenities needed including a dishwasher!! Parking is great with one space next to the house in the back (private) and parking on the street. What I liked most about the place is it is in a safe neighborhood with nice, quiet neighbors. It is only 0.6 miles for the speedway!!
