Horrible
Rats, negligent communication to the point of having to report to 311, lived here for 14 months. The bathroom has been under construction the entire time and I have cut my foot on the tile-less shower entrance. The hot/cold water doesn't work bc it's the top floor. Water is rather boiling hot or ice cold, never fixed. The heat didn't work and mandoline said I was lying.. the cleaning women hired to clean, uses the shower and cleans for 5 hours, I've complained and Madeline never fixed it. She didn't like me asking for fixes in the apartment so she refused communication with me and I had to talk through email and my parents, which is illegal. DO NOT STAY HERE there is no AC and it's unlivable
Perfect!
Ms place was perfect for my month long medical school rotation at Columbia. It is located in a very cute neighborhood, and is within a 5 minute walk of multiple subway stations and bus stops that can take you all over Manhattan as well as to other boroughs. Located ~10 mins by subway or 25 mins walking to CUIMC. The brownstone and the room itself are also gorgeous, with a large window, hardwood floors, and charming vintage furnishings. M is very kind and always available by phone if you need anything. I will certainly be reaching out to her next time I am in New York. Highly recommend!
