Trendy, friendly, quiet Japantown (San Jose) - private room/shared bath

Peaceful rental at an excellent location!

As a travel nurse, this is one of my favorite room rentals to date! Considering the modern state of the house, the quiet and friendly neighborhood, the kindness and flexibility of the landlord, and the house's location, the price is definitely worth it! I've been living here since Winter 2024 and it's about a 30min commute to Stanford Hospital. Lisa travels a lot for work and for fun, so it feels like I have the house mostly to myself at times. She's easy to reach if you need anything and provides prompt communication on anything happening in the house or in the neighborhood. Close to downtown San Jose and Japantown, there's things to do within walking distance from the rental. It's also 10min from San Jose Diridon Caltrain station and 5min from the Berryessa BART station, so it's easy to make commutes around the Bay if you need a break from driving. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to extend my stay here!
