Welcome to this cozy and charming home! One of the few homes in the area that has pastures and a green belt out the back yard. I call it 'Desert Vermont'

Hi! I'm Daniel Pettegrew and this a baby bird that I raised last year. Welcome to living the good life in southwestern Utah. One of the most beautiful places in the world.

Another great view of the back patio/terrace. The back yard is fully enclosed so it's a perfect area for dogs to relax and play.

Our relaxing and cozy living room is a great place to relax, watch TV or work on your laptop. Note: The living room sofa also has a built-in bed.

Our bright and spacious kitchen fills with sunlight! Plenty of room for dining inside or out on the adjacent patio and garden.

The kitchen is fully furnished with a coffee pot, French press, mugs, dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans and more.

The east bedroom has a new queen bed, large dresser, closet for hanging clothes and a large mirror. There's pine trees and shady garden out the window.

The west bedroom has a new full-sized cute log bed, closet, chair and dresser/amoire with a big, shady cottonwood tree outside.

The laundry room has a new washer and dryer, brooms, mops, cleaning supplies, laundry soap. There's an iron and ironing board as well.

There's plenty of bedding and towels and an extra pad for the sleeper sofa in the living room.

The garage area has a sofa for the dogs to sleep on if you choose to keep them in that room while you are out. There's also a large cooler, water cooler, folding camping chairs, a folding cot, sleeping pad and walking stick free to use.

Enjoy the entire home all to yourselves with just a small cleaning fee at the end of your visit and pet friendly too! Our cute, retro style home is full of cozy charm and were only about 20 minutes from Zion! There's also numerous hiking and biking trails, dog trails, plenty of shopping, golfing, two beautiful reservoirs, a public library, cafes and restaurants and some of the beautiful scenery and weather on the planet.

This is a charming and wonderful home that has been very popular with Airbnb and VRBO guests. It has been rated as a super host vacation rental for 9 years. This home is fully licensed with the city of Hurricane, Utah and meets all of their code requirements as a rental property.

Neighborhood overview

A good neighborhood, close to shopping, parks, two recreational lakes, community swimming pool, library, medical Instacare, medical ER, cafes, restaurants and only minutes from the amazing and beautiful Zion National Park. Also close to the amazing New Zion Canyon Hot Springs that just opened in July 2025. My guests can receive a 10% discount on bookings at the hot springs resort which is just a few minutes from the house.
