Great property for travelers

This home was very nice and had everything I could possibly need at such a reasonable price . The fenced in front yard was perfect for my dog. Staying in this neighborhood was the safest I’ve ever felt while travel nursing. The owners were very good at communicating and super helpful when needed!

Perfect for Travelers

Great location for Norfolk hospitals, the airport, and the beach! Landlords furnish the place perfectly for a temporary or long term stay. Would 100% recommend for 1-2 travelers, just be prepared for street parking if more than one car.

A great place to stay

My wife and I loved this place the most out of all the places we have stayed before. It was very clean and well equipped. Hosts were very responsive and had great communication all throughout our stay. If we happen to come to the area again we will definitely book here.

Excellent Stay

I highly recommend this place. Stayed here for about 5 months never had any issues. The property owners were always there to do yard & property maintenance and to make sure all my needs were met. I would stay here again if in the area.

Great Spot!

Wonderful home with fully functional equipment, no complaints during my stay. Great neighborhood with nice backyard space, close to the beach and only 10-15 min drive from airport and downtown Norfolk.

My perfect home away from home

I rented this cute little duplex from Jennifer & Lissette for 6 months while working as a travel nurse in the area. It was exactly what I want in a place to stay. It was quiet to sleep both day and night. One parking space per unit, but adequate street parking if you have a second vehicle. The neighbors across the street are the NICEST people you'll ever meet! The apartment is well furnished with all the essentials. Decor is tasteful and homey. Closet space is good. Kitchen is very usable! I did end up having to store my dry goods in the hall closet but thats only because the apartment comes withh ALL the things you need in a kitchen. The apartment isnt large so the hall closet worked well for a pantry. This apartment is literally, everything you need in a smaller 2 br 1 bath. Also! It's a super easy 2min R, L, R drive to the beach where there's free street parking on Ocean View Dr. The Sturgis access has limited parking, but Grove St access on down usually has plenty. Lots of evening daily walkers on the beach so if you are a regular beachgoer, you'll probably make lots of friends! Dogs are allowed on the beach after 6pm during the traditional summertime months and anytime from Labor Day til May. (Needless to say, I was in heaven!) The main shipping lane in and out of Norfolk is in front of the OV beaches, so you'll see lots of shipping containers and Navy boats. There is a sailboat regatta every Wed. The airspace over the beach is military so there are lots of helicopters, Osprey, and transport planes going overhead! Jennifer and Lissette are absolutely lovely. They came weekly to care for the yard. They are 100% responsive to your questions, and very helpful! My family and friends who came to visit and happened to meet them, were all very impressed by their kindness. Couldn't ask for better landlords. I absolutely loved my stay here in Norfolk. I definitely will be keeping this area and Jennifer & Lissette's property in mind for future contracts!

Lovely place

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It is even better than it looks in the pictures. We had a wonderful stay and would go back again and again. You are so close to the beach you can walk there. The neighbors are really nice. The owners put up with a lot of questions from me prior to us arriving. We did not want for a thing while we were there. It was the most pleasant work and vacation time I have had.

Excellent property by the Bay in Norfolk

It was the perfect place to combi e business with pleasure. Near the Naval base,where I was working and near the Oceanview beach, for morning and evening walks and swims before and after work. Everything was better than expected; clean, quiet and updated. Good quiet Aircon with a well maintained yard. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood. At different times during my stay my wife and son also visited and everyone had a relaxing beach break! A good value in Norfolk! And our host's, Jennifer and Lissette, were wonderful to work with, helpful in every way , nearby if needed and very responsive!

Awesome Stay

This was an awesome stay close to the beach and an 11 minute walk very neighboring community would definitely recommend. Had everything you need for a long-term rental kind and assessable if needed and very pet friendly.

Fantastic Stay

I would highly recommend staying here. The location is highly convenient to the Navy Base. The house was equipped with everything you need and it truly felt like a home away from home. The property manager, L is fantastic and readily available to help with anything you may need. We look forward to staying again while we house hunt later this year!

The landlords were great. They responded in a timely matter to answer all of my questions. The neighbors are friendly. I loved the space in this two bedroom duplex. There are two tv's and movie streaming services. The washer/dryer, updated appliances, and reserved parking were a plus. I would definitely stay here again!

Winter stay

We stayed during a travel contract on the winter. The property was recently updated with all new amenities. Fully stocked kitchen and all the things you need. Landlords are very responsive and will adress tour concerns immediately. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the neighbor across the street is very welcoming. Youre about 3 blocks from the bay and we walked to the beach often. As a night shift employee the only quirk is that you are close to the navy base and there are helicopter flyovers regularly but i managed to sleep through it moat days. Youre about 15 min from sentara leigh and norfolk general. If i ever work in the area again i would definitely book there again
