Clean and Comfortable

I loved staying at this place, and had very few to no complaints. It is exactly as pictured and super clean. I could use the kitchen and cookware provided. I was given space in the kitchen to store some stuff as well as half a fridge and freezer in the garage. The laundry utilities worked great, and sharing a bathroom with the other tenant was not a problem. I truly enjoyed the home atmosphere and getting to meet the some of the Landlord's family, including her adorable grandkids. I found there to be no issues with the Landlord; communication is key! The neighborhood is beautiful, super safe, and near many restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. One of my favorite memories while staying here was walking in the front door after a very long day at school and seeing a warm glow from the kitchen as well as hearing some chatter and music. The landlord, tenant, and a friend heard me come in and invited me into the kitchen for some delicious salad, jumbo shrimp, and to visit.

Not recommended

Would not recommend. I stayed here for 5 months then decided to leave. I am a graduate student 25 years old. I did not like the owners decision making as she has little experience with tenants. She is retired in her 70s and it is clear she does not know what she is doing. She needs to have better boundaries and expectations. I also didnt like how she handles conflict such as screaming at her niece (living in the basement), the tenant I was living with, and me as well. I found it unwelcoming to approach her with issues, making me uncomfortable living with her. Definitely has a high temper with no filter. She told me she might need to sell the house without having tenants. I could feel the stress from this financial situation which also made me uncomfortable.

Quiet, comfortable stay

L is a very hospitable, considerate landlady. She has treated me like a family. Place is quiet, yet very accessible to expressways making easy, fast commute to work.
