Perfect place to land

We stayed here for 9 months when we moved to Bellingham and it made our transition to a new place so easy and stress free. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we could need. We absolutely loved the outdoor area and the sunset views! Plenty of storage as well. The neighborhood is pretty and I loved taking my morning walks and seeing the views of the bay. C and D were fantastic hosts, very easy going, responsive, and considerate. Overall it was the perfect place for us to land as we got to know Bellingham, and we would highly recommend it!

The absolute best stay to experience Bellingham!

We were looking for a long-term stay in Bham for our second travel rotation & feel so incredibly lucky we stumbled on C&D's place. C&D were responsive & easy to communicate with. When we arrived, we were first blown away with how charming, cozy, & well-stocked the place was. C&D are just as delightful in person as they are virtually & we loved getting to know them over the course of our stay. Over time (and being new to Bham), we also quickly learned the location of this place is absolutely phenomenal. It has quick access to everything - you can hop on the Railroad Trail & be downtown in no time, or you can easily access Lake Whatcom by foot or quick car ride. Over the course of our ~9 mo stay we felt we had everything we could have needed. I also work from home & appreciated having a dedicated office space (with a view!) Any minor question or request was addressed quickly & kindly. We highly recommend C&D's place and know others will fall in love with it, just as we did!

Amazing Bellingham Rental!

This house was the perfect place for us to live in while spending time in Bellingham. We loved the location within walking distance of Lake Whatcom, Whatcom Falls Park, and we especially loved Big Rock Garden Park. We appreciated being a short drive away from downtown so that we could get to it easily, but didnt have to deal with any unwanted noise. The Alabama Hill neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed many wonderful sunsets from the backyard. Also, just down the hill theres a Trader Joes, other supermarkets, and a bunch of wonderful restaurants and breweries, so we didnt even need to go downtown to go out, we could just go down the hill. We loved the backyard space where we could chill out at night, get the fire going, and watch the sunset. The unit was spacious for two people and we were happy to have some guests stay and enjoy the place too. Every single guest we had over mentioned to us how nice the place was within minutes of walking in. All the appliances worked well and the house was stocked with everything we needed and well decorated so we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We appreciated how helpful Drew and Cecilia were throughout our time there, always communicating with us promptly and clearly, and giving us great advice for our time in the area. We were sad to leave this home, but we would definitely rent it again. We could go on and on, but overall we highly recommend this great place.

Great place to stay

We loved staying here! D and C were incredibly gracious and friendly. We came with three dogs, and they were very sweet about them. The place has two nice bedrooms, plus an office which was helpful for me since I work partially from home. The kitchenette has everything you need, and the laundry room is wonderful and well stocked. Decorated nicely and easy to clean home. The fenced in back porch area has a fire pit and beautiful views, and the nearby trails were great for walking our dogs. Cannot recommend enough!

Awesome place with gracious hosts and stunning views/walks

My partner and I (and our big dog) stayed for 2 months when we first moved to Bellingham, and we could not have asked for a warmer welcome. D and C are such thoughtful, generous, accommodating hosts, and the place was perfect for what we needed. The space is lovely and super comfortable, with lots of extra cozy touches. We felt right at home all throughout our stay. And it's in a great location--close to everything, but surrounded by beautiful trails and views. We spent a ton of time on the patio (gorgeous views!), and exploring the interurban trail with our pup. We'll miss that patio for sure! D and C, and their awesome place, were truly such a lifesaver in the midst of a pretty big, hectic, long-distance move. So so highly recommend. Can't thank these two enough!

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood!

We had a great 2+ month stay at D & C's! The apartment (the lower level of their split-level home), is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable in a great neighborhood. We loved the proximity to Lake Whatcom, Galbraith, and the Railroad Trail, and the fact that it was a quick easy drive/uber ride down to bars and restaurants. The back patio surrounded by lush plants and flowers with a firepit was lovely with a glass of wine in the evenings - we spent a lot of our time out there! The kitchen is on the smaller side with a 2-burner induction cooktop and a toaster oven, but we managed to cook several great meals throughout our stay. As far as hosts go, D & C are some of the most kind and generous we've had to date. They made sure we had everything we needed and then some, and even loaned us their bikes and a paddle board during our stay! We feel like we made new friends in Bellingham, and would stay there again without question. If you have the chance, scoop this place up!
