Summer Stay... Great Place

Staying here for the summer was a great experience. i was super nervous being out of state and away from home for my first time and i felt safe and comfortable staying here. Louis and his family are super sweet people and very respectful of everyone's privacy. The Casa is super clean and had everything I needed for the summer. It is very apparent the owners take a lot of pride in this place and their tenants due to it being so clean and very responsive when needed. I would highly recommend this place for long stays. Thank you Louis for everything.

WARNING: Avoid Renting From This Owner

Absolutely terrible experience. I would not recommend this owner to anyone under any circumstances. Be prepared to lose your deposit because getting it back seems impossible. Once they have your money, communication suddenly stops and you get completely ghosted. I have traveled and rented all over the country, and this has honestly been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for tenants is unbelievable. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss and stay far away.

Thank you for the review, Judith as I wished that you had told the truth as to what really happened as most Tenants don't do when they are playing the victim but its ok, I will share the truth as to what exactly happened. For those who are reading this be advised that the renter failed to clean the property as noted in the contract and decided to turn in the keys and vacate the property weeks before renter leave date and text me and state the unit was cleaned properly by her Husband. Leaving the keys in the unit and not coming back and then text me they are out is considered "Abandonment" so the owner has to take the unit in his or her possession at that time. After entering the property there was trash and food crumbs all over the unit, Refrigerator still had food stains and drinks in it, Floors were extremely filthy with food and dirt and trash, Bathroom toilet and shower were still dirty with hair and what to be described as a big blood stain on the area rug. The counters still had food stains and crumbs. They even felt the need to leave their personal dirty laundry in the laundry basket for us clean I guess? The unit was not cleaned properly but I felt out of the kindness of my heart to give the tenant back at least half the deposit which was $250.00 so at least I could have the unit cleaned properly and not cost me out of pocket. In the beginning I explained to the tenant that the unit is to be cleaned thoroughly to avoid any deposit repercussions and well sadly to say this didn't happen. Well, me being a business owner we have to protect our investments to make sure we are providing a safe and extremely clean environment for our medical staff who we rent to. Nobody likes to stay in places where they are not clean including myself so why should the next renter experience that. Not here we don't operate that way. We were very fair with the tenant as to give her the benefit of the doubt and not try and keep her "Whole" deposit. So, if anyone has any questions feel free to get in contact with me and I can provide the pictures, etc. As we all know there is always two sides to the story and well, she felt the need to leave the truth out. Its ok though we wish her the best of luck and Landlords please be aware of who you are renting to. Please Note: the previous reviews and ratings speak the truth about how we operate.

Wonderful hosts. Very nice in-law apartment minutes from the hospital. Easy recommend if you are going to be staying in alamogordo.

Home away from home

Stayed here for an assignment at the local hospital, which is minutes down the road. The casita was super clean and had all kitchen and bathroom needs. You get your own parking spot with a private gate to enter backyard to access Casita. I would recommend this to anyone needing a place near the hospital. Hosts were respectful and responsive.

Great location! Private and clean!

This is a great, safe location and literally minutes from the hospital. It had everything needed and move in ready. It is very quiet and private with your own parking area. L was an amazing host!
