Comfortable & Clean

I enjoyed my stay here immensely! Delmonica's home is extremely warm and welcoming. Her location is in a quiet neighborhood just walking distance from a number of restaurants and markets. Although I biked to work (a short 6 min. ride to Children's National Hospital) there was always available parking on the street so if you plan to bring your car, no worries there. The room had a comfortable bed, flat screen tv, and an electronic fireplace. There was also plenty of storage for your clothes, hangers included. The bathroom has a very modern style that includes a round vessel sink vanity and heated washcloth rack! Space is also provided for items you wish to store in the fridge, freezer, and pantry. I would easily stay here again without hesitation!

Great place for a long stay!

I stayed at this lovely place for about 4 weeks, Delmonica is the perfect landlord. She made me feel welcomed and most importantly, safe! I had the peace of mind that after a long day at work, I would be able to rest in a super comfortable (with a lot of pillows) bed. I stayed during winter time and the bedroom was always with a nice temperature. On day 1, Delmonica provided me with new sheets/pillowcases; I also had my own space in the fridge/freezer and pantry. Laundry was also available. In DC, it is really hard to find free nearby parking; during my stay, I always had a space to park near the house. I would recommend this place 100% to someone who would need a place for a long stay and has a car.

Awesome home in Petworth!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this home! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness by the host, who made me feel like part of the family. The home itself is beautifully maintained, cozy, and inviting, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It is very close to many eateries and the Georgia Ave/Petworth metro station. Although the bathroom is shared, I never once encountered any issues or inconveniences. The space was always immaculately clean, and the host ensured everything was always in order, making it a smooth experience for everyone. I truly had a wonderful time and felt completely at home during my stay. This place is a hidden gem, and I would absolutely love to return! If you're looking for a welcoming, stress-free experience, Delmonica's home is the perfect choice.

Fantastic!!!!

I loved every second of my experience staying here. I was rotating as a medical student at Medstar health, and the location was perfect. The host is beyond kind and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. So incredibly nice and thoughtful, and I had so much fun with her and her family while staying here. The unit is super sleek, clean and updated with tons of access to great spots in DC. I would recommend over and over again for anyone looking for a place to stay while in DC!!

Amazing 5 Month Stay

LOVED MY STAY! I stayed for 5 moths while working in DC. I felt right at home, Delcomina was so welcoming and accommodating! From giving suggestions for places to go and see giving me the occational ride, sharing some meals and just being a friend to hang out with. She keeps the house very clean and organized. Im going to miss our talks. The home is within walking distance to the metro station and multiple bus stops. I was very easy to get around. There are lots of restraunts and museums to see in DC, all easy to get to. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay myself again.

1 month stay in Petworth 1BR

5 stars is not enough to describe my amazing stay at this place! Very clean and well kept with accurate pictures of the inside and outside of the house. The owner was a very gracious and understanding host and made me feel right at home. The owner is also very kind and replies very fast to any questions or concerns. I have stayed at multiple properties during my career and this was by far the BEST experience of them all. The house is located in a cozy part of Petworth, with multiple food spots within walking distance with a metro station nearby. I was able to move around with little difficulty. If I return to D.C., this is the only place I would consider staying.
