Best Rental Experience I've Had in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro Areas

I've lived in this house since August 2025 and have had an excellent experience. The house is well-maintained, and having a private bathroom for each bedroom is a major advantage. The home is fully equipped for daily living, including a coffee maker, air fryer, blender, microwave, and a recently installed new washer and dryer. It's also a quiet, peaceful place that is ideal for studying or working from home. The location is very convenient. Wegmans is within walking distance, with Food Lion, CVS, and Harris Teeter all nearby. UNC's campus is only a few miles away, and a bus stop with direct campus access is just a short walk from the house. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. The landlord is local, highly responsive, and quick to address any issues. Having rented in several places around Chapel Hill and Carrboro, I can say this has been my favorite rental experience, and I highly recommend it.

An Absolute Sanctuary for Travel Nurses

For the past year, calling this property my home has been a sanctuary while working as an ICU travel RN at UNC MC in Chapel Hill. Peter is truly exceptional, responsive and easy to communicate with, often addressing small needs instantly. The location is in a quiet, safe neighborhood offering excellent peace of mind, and the commute is a quick and painless 8-minute drive to the hospital. The quality of the living space is fantastic. My room was cozy and comfortable, and the shared areas are completely furnished with truly nice, high-quality furniturenot just basic pieces. The kitchen is fully stocked with more than expected, making cooking and settling in seamless. Peters rigorous vetting process for all tenants ensured I had only wonderful housemates the entire year, contributing to a positive and respectful communal environment. This property is a 5-star gem, offering the perfect blend of safety, convenience, and comfort. I highly recommend it to any travel nurse heading to UNC.

Nice place to stay at.

The location of the house is convenient. It is near UNC chapel Hill, Duke, major clinics and grocery stores. My room was very large including a large private bath that are clean and neat. I did traveling nursing for about 3 months when I rented the room and it was so convenient for me. The owner, Peter is very kind, friendly and always available 24/7 to help and respond to his tenant's needs. I would recommend this room to anyone needing a quiet and great place to stay at.

Amazing experience

Apartment was great! Having my own bathroom was wonderful. Laundry was included in unit which was a huge time-saver. The appliances (stove, fridge, etc) here are top-notch and honestly now that I've moved out I miss them. The central AC was wonderful as well (I live in Maine so apartments never have central AC up here haha). Peter (owner of the unit) was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He got back to me super quick if I ever needed anything! There was some other review but I absolutely loved the roommates that were staying there when I was staying there. Very friendly people and had a lot to talk about. If I return to NC (which I hope to) to visit, I will definitely try to stay here again.

A home away from home

This property is a beautiful and modern home tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The experience provides you the opportunity to be as social with the other tenants as you'd like. The owner is very responsive and understanding. Overall, it was an incredible experience. If I find myself in the Triangle in the future, I hope to be staying here again!

Warning to any potential 2024 Tenants! Part 1

I would like to preface this by saying that the actual townhome is great. The location is convenient to the hospital along with many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The rooms are also spacious, with their own restrooms and come with plenty of closet space. The kitchen also comes with everything you would need to make meals. The main caveat is the Indian couple that lives downstairs and will be living there till the end of the year. They have taken up almost all cabinet, fridge, and counter space even though it is all supposed to be shared EVENLY. They're also nosey and have picked out my trash from the trash can for no reason. They also cook constantly and the scent travels all the way upstairs and wakes me up (I work night shift) along with stinking up my clothes, bedsheets, and the curtains. It was so bad I had to resort to sticking a towel under my door and leaving my window open at all times.
