WARNING to Travel Nurses: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LANDLORD
The listing uses old 2021 Zillow photos. In reality it is dark, dirty, cluttered. I paid a cleaning fee. I moved into a home with a moldy washer, caked toilet limescale, and filthy baseboards. There was an active cockroach infestation. Multiple sightings over 2 months, including from shower drain & toilet bowl. Landlord ignored reports for 30+ days, gaslit me about "outdoor roaches." I had to hire & pay my own exterminator under CA law. Expired, non-functional smoke alarms. Landlord's on-site cat litter box in kitchen = ammonia + pests. Landlord minimized everything, refused responsibility, threatened late fees for lawful rent deduction, scheduled move-out inspection with <3 hrs notice then blamed me for missing it due to a medical emergency. I documented everything. Got my deposit back only after citing tenant laws repeatedly. This landlord is dishonest & neglectful. Save your sanity and rent elsewhere.
