Loved my two-month stay here! It was the cutest space and being on the landlords property made me feel very safe. Waialua/Haleiwa was the perfect location!!! Jantzen was the best and very communicative! :)
Gorgeous tiny home
I loved staying in this tiny home. The place is beautiful and had everything we needed. Jantzen and her family are so lovely, were kind, helpful and understanding, and had great communication and hospitality. I always felt safe here and love the area, its such a beautiful spot. Made my time in Oahu super special and cant recommend enough. Thank you so much!!
Secluded and peaceful
I loved my stay in this clean and cozy tiny home on the North Shore. I originally only planned to stay for 2 months while relocating but ended up staying 8 months. The home has everything you need in studio kitchen with a hot plate, fridge, toaster oven and coffee maker. The sofa sleeper and sleeping loft were comfortable and the evenings were peaceful. There is a shared laundry on site which was much appreciated. Water heater and water pressure were great and the outdoor shower was covered so good in both sun and rain. The location is safe and convienent (5-10 min drive) to beaches, markets and restaurants. and The best part was the family! They are kind, welcoming and caring. J and J were extremely helpful when I needed it and shared their property with my dog as well. The kids are considerate and polite and even helped with caring for my dog while I was at work. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this tiny home!
Nice, but be aware
When I rented this, I wasn't aware that the upstairs loft had no bed, only foam mattress on floor. Other option was pull out couch. Shower is outside, not mentioned in listing. The positives? Friendly, personable host. Picked me up at airport, had delays getting here, had made it clear I would pay from date of original rental & airport p/u. Location great, property safe, other tenants kind. Cute outside deck. Left after a few hours due to the shower and bed, things had I known about, would of been dealbreaker. Would have saved 500$ & aggravation, but glad listing has been updated. It's stressful flying far from home, to the unknown & thinking you have a place that suits you. Finding out it wasn't what I thought. STRESS. Regardless, I honored my word & paid for week & airport pickup. which she took willingly and forgot a thank u. In retrospect, I should of only given 1/2 as I felt I was misled. where was her liability ? For the right person, it will be charming.
North shore cottage
Enjoyed my stay on the north shore while getting situated on Oahu. J and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating. This place is detached from the main house and very quiet. There is a pull out couch and a loft area where you can sleep. The couch was pretty comfortable. AC and wifi were both strong. Thank you Jantzen for making my stay on the north shore a pleasant experience!
Cute Tiny Home on North Shore!
Awesome little tiny home!! The unit has everything you could need, a nice size refrigerator, hot plate, pots and pans, microwave, and big kitchen sink. The pull out couch and loft area were very comfy, and having a tv is a nice touch! The surrounding area is peaceful and very quiet at night, with amazing north shore beaches 5-10 minutes away. The property is very safe, with plenty of street parking. The best part about the unit is the landlords, and their kindness, incredible hospitality, and willingness to help you with whatever you need. I feel lucky to have met such amazing people, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Aloha
