Amazing!

I had a great time staying here! Beth and Brad were extremely welcoming and helpful. They provided me with just about everything I needed to streamline my move and feel comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for better housemates (Chuck and Zeus included)!

Enjoyed My Stay

Beth and the family were very friendly and welcoming. She laid out free snacks on the counter and even let me grab things from the pantry to cook. They were respectful of my privacy in the bedroom provided. The two pets Zeus and Chuck were very well-trained and playful. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Welcome Family

Would definitely recommend this place if youre looking for a family style residence. Theyll respect you and your space (the bedroom they provide) if you need it, and if youre looking for great conversation theyll supply you with that. Beautiful place to stay at if youre looking for the best possible commute to really anywhere -> 20 mins from Seattle, 20-30 mins for hiking, and 20 mins from the airport. The Bergers treat you like family and thats all you really need.

I had a wonderful stay at Beth's beautiful home. She is a fantastic host who makes you feel truly welcome. The location is ideal: it's a very short distance to the Factoria mall for shopping and essentials, and the access to safe bike lanes makes getting to Bellevue midtown incredibly easy. Highly recommend for any visit to the area!

Great place and people!

I stayed for during my Costco internship. Drive to work was 15mins at 7am. Coming back from work more like 30mins at 4pm. The household was great and it nice having pets around. Seattle, Airport, & most other places are within 20 mins of driving.

Amazing Stay

This was home away from home! Beth (and Fam) were exceptional and they really know how to make you feel at home. They have two adorable pets - Zeus the dog and Chuck the cat - who added so much joy to my stay. Both were incredibly friendly and well-behaved, making the house feel even more welcoming. The room itself was excellent, and Beth's thoughtful touches made all the difference. There were snacks laid out on the counter for guests to enjoy, and the whole place had such a warm, homey atmosphere that made me feel completely comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable, conveniently located accommodation with a genuinely warm and welcoming host. The combination of great location, comfortable space, and amazing people makes this a standout choice for anyone thinking about living here.

Everything you can ask for & more!

As someone from Germany, finding a place to live in the Seattle/Bellevue area was quite challenging. The high prices and the difficulty of securing a short-term lease made the search even harder. Then Beth reached out to me shortly after I created my account. I visited the house within an hour and moved in the very next day! She made the entire process incredibly smooth and even helped me settle in. Moving in here turned out to be the best decision. I felt like part of the family within hours, which made my three-month stay truly unforgettable. The house is spacious, my room was cozy and fully furnished, and everyone was incredibly welcomingfrom Beth and Brad to their two youngest sons, and even Zeus and Chuck, the adorable pets. Beth's favorite saying, "Theres never a dull moment in this house," couldnt have been more true, and I absolutely loved it! I quickly felt at home, had a fantastic time, and even got to celebrate my first Thanksgiving with them and hope to come visit next Summer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming environment and a true sense of home during their stay in Seattle or Bellevue. Without a doubt, 5 stars!

Amazing

I only stayed with Beths family for a month, but they couldnt have been more welcoming! Beth was so warm and sweet and would always check in on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Chuck and Zeus were also the best, such sweet pets. I cant recommend this family and house enough! Thank you for everything!!

A Place I Won't Forget

The entire family gushed with warmth as they helped make my first trip away from home as easy as it can be. They check in to make sure that we have everything we need and nothing is missing. The family and the renters added to the experience as it was a joy to meet people from different walks of life. It was a shame that my stay was only for a few months, but it felt like years with the memories I've made. On other notes, the hvac is a game changer in helping combat the summer heat and the neighborhood is really safe and quiet. The city's transit system ain't too good coming from NYC, but there are bikes available that I borrowed to commute to places. As for what to pack, I arrived with just a tech bag and a carry on of clothes. You can buy body wash and toothpaste at target and some groceries at QFC, both at the mall nearby.

Home Away From Home

I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay for the summer. The family is extremely accommodating and friendly, and tries to include the roommates in their events - they treat you like family. The place is super spacious with a nice backyard, and is in a great and convenient location (everything was sub 20 min for me). They made my time in Washington more enjoyable and a time I wont forget! I would definitely stay there again if I came back to the Bellevue/Seattle area!

Great House, Great Location, Great Family

The B's place was a wonderful place to stay during my 6 months working in the Seattle area. I enjoyed staying there and I'm so thankful for them allowing me to rent a room in their lovely house. If I was moving back to Seattle, I would 1000% stay here again. The family is kind and wonderful, the dog and cat are awesome, and the house is awesome. TLDR: 10/10 would recommend.

Lovely home and neighborhood

The hosts were very caring and accommodating always doing what they can to welcome me to the home, everything was very nice, clean, and spacious. Big yard to relax outside; their furry resident zeus and chuck are very well behaved and loving. The neighborhood is very nice, well kept and quiet while also being very centrally located. There's also a trail right outside the neighborhood to either go walking or running and many activities in the area.

Amazing Stay!

I stayed at B and Bs property for about 6 months and could not recommend it more. First off, B and B as well as their kids are amazing. They truly made my time here feel like home away from home. Secondly the house is beautiful. Plenty of space both inside and out. The backyard is huge! The location is also fantastic and getting between Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, and Everett were all less than 30 mins away. I highly recommend staying at B&Bs place if youre looking to rent a room in the area.

Amazing property, location, and hosts!

B and B's place was a home awayfrom home while my husband worked in Bellevue. They went above and beyond to make him feel part of the family - from eating dinner with the family, having late night talks, and even exchanging Christmas gifts! The house was clean, convenient to all the local attractions in Seattle metro, and the well-behaved dog and cat were an added bonus. The property is BEAUTIFUL. My husband spent many days working outside in the backyard, running on the local nature trail (fun fact, it connects you to Seattle), and takingwork calls while walking around the quiet neighborhood. Anyone who has been to Seattle knows that the traffic can be a concern but Beth and Brad's house is in an optimal location that helped my husband reduce the time he spent in my car. It is close to the airport, downtown Seattle, downtown Bellevue, Lake Washington, and the mountains! All around, amazing experience and we would recommend B / B's house to anyone!

Outstanding residence and owners

An outstanding residence, clean, beautifully furnished, many, many features including a very large and convenient kitchen area and huge backyard ideal for just lounging around. Very convenient for medical appointments both in Bellevue and Seattle. Had both shoulders replaced at Swedish in Seattle with weeks of convalescence required thereafter and this residence filled the bill perfectly. Especially appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood and the very easy on/off access to Hwy 405. Very easy and accessible street parking. Owners are a delight to work with. Highly recommended!

Convenient, Comfortable & Functional

Easy to work here, and get a great nights sleep. I was able to go into the office when needed in downtown Bellevue and get around the eastside - Kirkland, Issaquah, Renton. I was also able to work from home with the desk setup and high speed internet. No problem getting to the airport quickly. Backyard gas BBQ was a score and the kitchen setup had everything I could want. Reasonably priced since everything was included, especially when compared to local hotels and Air B&B pricing. Lots of parking options, no issues. I approve!

Very Comfortable, will go back

This place is great, very comfortable...a fantastic home away from home. Zeus (the yellow lab) and Chuck (tabby cat) are the best behaved animals I think I've ever met and loved to come say hi to me. Prepare to become an experienced cookie tester; and the host would cook dinner for me on occasion, just to be kind to me. Easy going and friendly. Worked for me to get to Seattle. I extended my stay as it all worked well for me. I will be back on my next contract.

Awesome Experience

Really nice neighborhood close to I-405 and I-90. B and B were helpful, kind and communicated well. The house is clean, quiet, and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Great find with easy access and lots of amenities.

My private room was great and had everything I needed. The house is large and provided multiple spaces for relaxing or entertaining friends. The shared bathroom, kitchen and common spaces were kept clean and coordination of schedules was easy. Having access to the workout equipment, as well as the community pool, sand volleyball court and lake access were a wonderful added bonus. The neighborhood is centrally located, with easy access to all major roads, so the drive to work was a breeze. I will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.
