Great for Traveling Nurses

Blessing

Being new to the US, I don't know what to expect I was just simply trying to adjust and adapt. Norm and Ate Marie has been and will always be a blessing to me since I rented a room in their property. My room and bath is perfect, the house has all that you need, location is so convenient to work, groceries and more and their kindness went beyond me being a renter, they treated me like family and honestly I can't imagine myself surviving in the US without them. I lived their for 6 incredible months and as I told them if my family is not coming yet I will live their all over again whether they like it or not. Thank you Norm and Ate Marie for the care, support and love not just to me but to my family. To my landlord and landlady who became a family to me, my heart will always be grateful.

I hesitated renting a room in someones home. It was my first time renting a room. Marie and Norm were so helpful in all my crazy circumstances. Loved cooking and eating with them. It was a fun stay! Love you (alias )Cordial

This is my first rented room on FurnishFinder. I was hesitant the first time because I always travel with my camper. I am glad I rented a room from Norman and Marie. They are excellent landlords and always provide whatever I needwe started as landlords and developed a friendship later. I had lived with them for six months for two assignments. If I ever go back to the Richmond area again, I will stay with Norman and Marie again. I wish I could give them more than five stars.

Amazing People & Experience!!

This was my first experience with FF and the bar has been set very very high!! Norm and Marie created a perfect space for you if you are needing a space to sleep on a very comfortable bed, work at the desk, watch TV while sitting on the couch and relax. I wanted my own bathroom and got that plus more! The walk in closet was big enough for me to go through fall and winter with the big coats, sweaters and boots. While I never really cooked, it was nice to have my own space in the fridge and pantry - which I did use. I could hang with them when I wanted or I could relax up in my room without hearing them. Their hospitality helped me to feel like part of their family from day 1! Highly recommend their place!

I stayed there for 13 weeks. The house is very quiet and less than one mile from Chippenham hospital where I worked. The couple are very nice. I spent good time with them. If I went to Richmond again, I would stay there.

Great place to rent

The room is awesome. Own bathroom and walk in closet. You have full access to the kitchen and living room. Or have peace and quiet in your room. I can't say enough about how wonderful the couple are. They treat you like family. Welcome you as soon as you arrive. I loved living there and would differently stay there again. Words aren't enough to express how wonderful this home. I would stay there again if I get back to Virginia.
