If you are a young professional, do not stay here. Although the location is great and Marlene is kind, there are several issues I encountered staying here: -Dishwasher was not working, not mentioned before move in -Loud environment - dogs/cats constantly making noise in early morning -Listing stated space is professionally cleaned once a month, which was simply untrue -My deposit was wrongfully withheld at the end of my lease (based on accusations of stealing/cleaning issues) It's also worth mentioning the living habits Marlene prefers. Everyone has their preferences, which is totally fine, but as a young person, her living expectations did not match mine (i.e. taking clothes out of dryer/dishes from the rack immediately, etc.) If you are in your twenties, you may find similar differences. I normally don't leave reviews but after Marlene refused to return my deposit back (violating our lease agreement), I wanted to warn others who may also be in tight financial situations/students

Staying with Marlene was amazing!!! The room is very spacious, clean, and cozy perfect for both relaxing and studying. It's super close to campus, which made commuting incredibly easy. I really enjoyed every moment I spent there and loved having Marlene, along with the Furies, as my roommates! It was truly a blessing to live in such a warm and welcoming home. Marlene is not just a landlord shes compassionate, big-hearted, and always made sure I felt safe, comfortable, and supported. I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay or a kinder person to share it with!
