Cozy Townhome near Lake Brownwood

Comfortable Stay, Friendly Landlord

Overall my stay was very comfortable and the landlord was quick with fixing the A/C when it went out. This is a shared space and yes it is properly listed as a shared space but if you're like me and just read a description it doesn't say that. Don't make the same mistake I made. If you're needing to get to the hospital quickly for work be aware that the home is very close to the lake but about 18-21 minutes away from the hospital. Utilities are separate from the rent. Overall however the home was very comfortable and peaceful. Landlord responds quickly and deposit is given back in a timely manner. I give it 5 stars because the landlord quickly fixed issues and was open to suggestions and very much made the stay very comfortable.

Worst exepriecne ever!

Overall, my short-term stay here had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the amenities, comfort, and convenience, the landlord was dishonest and would try to squeeze you for every dollar. When I first moved in here, he charged me twice the cleaning fee, only to find out later that it should have only paid half of that, since there were two of us staying in the house. I reached out to him about it and he promised to give me a refund at moveout, given the house was clean and there was no dog hair. After moving out, he decided he changed his mind, and would only give me a refund if I left him a 5-star review and even offered me a template of what to put in my review. I told him that my review should be of my volution and based on my experience, and not a quid pro quo. I've been traveling for work for about 3 years now, and this by far, has been my worst experience. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere where the landlord won't be rude or try to cheat you out of your money.

A great spacious property and a wonderful owner!

This was my first assignment in Brownwood and I felt right at home while being at this property. This townhouse is very spacious and I enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen which provided you immediate access to a big backyard. The owner has been very kind, accommodating and communicative and I look forward to staying here again in the future if I ever travel back to Brownwood.
