Bob withheld my security deposit unfairly

I signed a lease with Bob, with the understanding that this listing was a private unit. However, after the lease was signed, he told us he would expect to access the apartment to do laundry once a month. This type of landlord access / laundry sharing was not communicated before, nor was it detailed in the lease. We told Bob we would like to cancel 3 weeks in advance to move in due to this new information, and Bob is refusing to return our security deposit. Bob was also very slow at responding to communication and took 3-5 days to respond to any emails or messages.

Great host & incredible landscaping

Bob is the coolest guy ever, and he's super friendly. His pup, Brandi is super sweet well-behaved. The property is refreshing to be on, and I enjoy spending time outside there. The unit was newly renovated and is very well-equipped. The bedrooms have very comfy beds and pillows, plus big closets. Ample parking space.
