Home Away From Home

My husband and I had the pleasure of living at the Pine House for a recent extended stay. To say it was the perfect home for us would be an understatement. With loads of old-world charm (stained glass, wood floors and trim, traditional/classic furniture, roll-top desk), there were also plenty of modern conveniences, like "top-shelf" appliances, cookware & kitchen utensils. Even a small gym with weights, proper flooring support, lighting & mirrors in basement. Spacious yet bungalow-cozy. Nice yard with beautiful flowers in back - and a private garage. Two other pluses: The owners are friendly, respectful & super responsive to questions & requests. They made us feel like their home was our home. And, finally, the location. Located on a corner of Humboldt Park in Bay View, the Pine House is ideally situated to take advantage of park activities & walks, neighborhood restaurants, Lake MI & easy access to interstates and major roads. Downtown is less than 10 mins. Can't wait for next year!

Lovely stay!

Loved everything about pine house! My friend and I traveled here together and we had a great time. a very quiet neighborhood with plenty to do and a quick bike from the lake. The owners are very kind and respond fast. Would recommend!
